oh shreck!- kudus to u.
i cannot say i understand everything that is written here, but what i would like to add is that the Chofetz Chaim in his time he owned a store he was a store owner but yet he was the Chofetz Chaim. what I learned from my rebbeim was in those times people were on a much higher level tahat they were able to do both and it would not detract from their concentration with learning ( SOMEONE WHO has never learned a daf gemora cannot understand this- it is extremely hard to have ones mind fully immersed in Torah if he has other worries) , and almost all of klal yisrael worked and learned, but now adays there are so few relgious Jews in the world. those living in the helige BP or Jeru might not feel it but relation to the world there are VERY VERY few people who are actually shomer torah or mitvos let alone learning TORAH! so taht is why teh Rabbonim are distressed abut this….it menas that those who wish to dedicate their lives to Torah – Which is very much needed ( bcz not enough Jews in teh world learning Torah) are now being forced to go to the army. again someone who was never in the atmosphere or walls of a yeshiva cannot fully understand what Torah learning does and what purety it bestows. taking a boy who wants to be immersed in the word of G-d all day long and forcing him to go to the army is a YIDDISHE disastor.
tachlis please remember to daven for the safety of Jews everywhere! and all the other specific needs of Am Yisroel. =)
lol Torah 613 loved what you wrote.
MATZAV IN ERETZ YISRAEL IS GETTING REALLY BAD: Yeshivish
ALMOST EVERYDAY THERE ARE ATTEMPTED TERROIST ATTACKS!: Zionist

PLEASE TRY TO SEE AND OONLY SAY THE GOOD IN JEWS. THESE ARE YOUR FELLOW BRETHEREN. those Jews you say that call chilonim “nazi” are a very small amount and obviously i was not taking about them. I am talking about RESPECTFUL UNDERSTANDING LOVING YIDDEN WHO WISH TO FOLLOW THE TORAH TO ITS UPMOST.
lol pick up line:
want a grape?
how about a date?
woaa……….THESE ARE FELLOW JEWS YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! YOU CAN NOT MAKE ANY GENERLAZATIONS! I AM TALKING ABOUT THOSE YIDDEN WHO TRUELY WANT TO DEVOTE THEIR LIVES TO THE STUDY OF TORAH AND WANT TO LIVE LIVES OF PURITY IN THEIR HOMELAND! NO ONE ASKED YOU TO DO WHAT THEY ARE DOING! I DO NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM WANT TO GET INTO A POLITICAL ARGUMENT WITH YOU ABOUT THIS ” stealing money from the goverment “etc….. PERIOD> END THIS CONVERSATION RIGHT NOW. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DAVEN OKAY AND IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS THAN DO NOT RESPOND. THE WORDWIDE ACKNOLDGED GEDOLIM IN OUR TIMES HAVE CALLED THIS A TERRIBLE GEZEIRA AND IT IS! PLEASE I BEG OF YOU KEEP ANY NOT NICE REMARKS UNWRITTEN!!!!
mad chazak!! i did and yes my eyes feel much better… they are not constantly looking at ma phone reading texts…
=) I dont say good shabbos to them they say it to me….and i cant say i dont say it back…but as my shtark chavrusah would say..” nu why were u looking??..keep ur eyes on the street, and no one will say gs to u”…it only happens( in the places that it is not typical to say gut shabbos to people) when the other person looks eye to eye to the other person..in one of those akward momments.so try and keep your eyes on the street, and if it comes to that if you are NOT dressed like a yeshiva bochur you can quickly say it(my opinion)no prob. but if you are you dont have to say it and nothing will happen, people understand. Again this in a place where it is not typical to say good shsbbos to random people. OUT OF TOWN IT IS MUTAR TO SAY BACK TO SOMEONE GOODSHABBOS OR SAY GOOD SHABBOS TO THEM FIRST….BUT QUICKLY!- teshuvus m.t
curiousity- Maybe…lol 😉

I should really read the whole thread before I comment. Ha sorry ;(
Lol ACTUalyy I just realized my comment was to The goq so nevermind.
Lol glad to see you took my comment well. 🙂 gj
That’s mad weird
If Ur the number 1 charoises fan than I’m the # 1 arbah koises fan. Unlike most of the people at the Seder I didn’t have to force any cups down… I drank than all gladly. Plus a few more at shulchan aruch- I need to remember the name of the wine… It was sweet but not sickly/ nauseous sweet
I did not read the while thread but two words to answer the q. Heck yea! It’s does individual but with regard to me it is a massive success!! Listen from my experiences the boys who r going to learn are going to learn with or without the vacation, this just allows for people who are more human to recharge Nd do something diffrent for a change. Not to mention getmuch needed exercise!!!!!!
As some people mentioned it’s not such a big deal pretty much everyone keeps to themselves…. But don’t underestimate… Mods why do keep deleting everything I write???
the principle probaly told them.
100% wrong, its deff not mutar to make another Jew cry.
but dont worry you were probaly young, and didnt know any better. The teacher should have realized this and not taken it to heart.
so frustrating nothing CRAZY happend in yehsiva this year for purim. maybye cuz im not with my guys? we all went to diffrent yeshivas in ertz yisroel. it would have rocked if they were here… the pranks would have been epic
As a whole we gotta figure somthin out. As a bachur I go there, because I need things,a nd its close to my yeshiva. The girls know that and should be respectful when they go. Also geula is suppose to be a very tznius place….I never dreamend it would be this bad.
( my friend is lookingover my shoulder at what Im writing right now) He disagrees- he loves it, and hopes it continue.
( Dont worry Ill learn some mussar with him
If this does not interest you, or whet your curiosity please do not respond. I just do not want people to think there is no answer to this. This a hashkafic issue, that a Jew has to understand.
I have alot to say on this matter- please respond if this is a topic you would like to discuss, because I have done alot of in depth study on this. Before I start, please clarify ” rather just regular people who have hard nisyonos and dont like them. its no big deal, but i still dont think its healthy”If the people do not like the nisyonos than why do they not want Moshiach to come?
lol this thread made me smile. thanks
I just saw this on a wall in a sem….
The alter Mekelm has a beautiful answer. He writes that bnai yisroel understood that everything even teva is a neis. If Hashem wills it the light wouldn’t have even lasted for one day. They were able to look into a Maaseh that seemed like teva and they were able to realize that not only was the 7 days the oil laste for was a neis rather it was even the first day. He writes that anything that happens in life there are two ways to look at it.1) that it’s stam a mikreh something that happened BUT from the fact that we have 8 days and not 7 we learn that a person should look at things that happen in the second way.2)you can look at itthrough a ruchnyis hashkofeh and a that it has a ruchnyis Aliya to it. Nothing hapens by chance there is always something you can Learn from it. A freilachin chanuka coffee room. Lol and stop thinking I’m a troll!
Baalhabooze!!! Hhaha was I in the same group of friends as you???…
Haha avadeh gambling is not part of chanuka…. But who cares it fun and when done with your family it keeps us teenagers off the street…but ya gotta be careful. If your playing foreal be prepared to lose alot of gelt.and yea parents dont encourage this. If the kids play it themselves, and you can’t steer them away from the game properly don’t freak. But it’s not a good habit
woa girl..maaaddd comfusing. aight zeigezunt un ashkoiach for all ur ideas
“duggie”-lol why didnt you tell me it was you before.
u going to the chasunah on chanukah?
lol yuh avadeh. you were the one who ashtuken nisht in hartz?fun bp yuh?fun a chasidishe mishpoche?
A heimeshe mom- Thats a sik idea! I THINK WE HAVE A WINNER!!!;)make sure to look out for my menoira.
lol thats a mad cool idea, and yea sounds about right.
you write like a girl i know…are you from bp?
My sister went There last Year, And shes really shtark. From what she Told me its an amazing place, and has a great reputation!!
kodos to you Duggie!!

Your a guy!!!!!
Yo!!!! Maybye I missed something but what the…. you doing picking up a wig???
yitayningwut- Yo thanks for the backup… But i don’t need it Who cares what people think of you in the cr….
Movado watch or if You wanna be a really good wife and get him something that will make him happy for eternity ( not to mention can’t hurt your shalom bayis. Get him an interesting Sefer that he’s never read… Like an easy read type of thing..that he would want to read like once a day,AND MAKE HIM HIS FAVORITE SUPPER( I know that’s what would want)
lol ohh man.. i just realized all the confusion. ha let me clarify….
basically (k it was dumb, i’ll admit) i thought that “coffee addict” was talking to ME. trust me, i am NOT that ice cream dude. far from it, actually.
sorry for all the confusion- that was pretty funny!
yo honestly i thought you were a guy, what you doing asking about wigs?
lol thanks about the smart part. actually im totally not, maybe just street smart i guess.I dont know what that has to do with you, but ive got alot of abilities. i wouldnt call them talents cuz when i think of talents i think of break dancing beatboxing etc. but yea im a chilled guy, really easy to get along with , i love life, love Torah, Love learning( not so good at it..but still one day) Im a very positive person, all the girls love me, im myself, im crazy funny, I like to make people smile, i like to help etc. I dunno…why you want to know? oh and im a sik brakdancer
I really hope this isnt a joke. I mamish have no time…but I couldnt help but want to help you after reading a few of your posts Im no psychologist or therapist, or even old wise man, but what i can tell you is like this. First of all you gotta be yourself, and no matter how zany, nerdy or weird you are people will like you if you are you.(and plus trying to be someone else wont make you truthfully happy) As long as your not a seriously (like its written all over your face every second of the day) depressed, annoying, mean, easily angered person I Dont see why people would want to stay away from you. If your an overall really nice guy, but just look like a nerd in the way you dress or act.. sooo what???? the people who wouldnt want to be friends with you are people you dont want to be friends with, ( waaaay to superficial). Also you gotta realize that REAL relationships with people dont just happen you have to work on them! as “nerdy” as that sounds. If you see someone you once had a nice chat with, and you think to yourself that you wouldnt mind being their friends..than go up to them, and ask them if they would want to chill with you. Also just a massive general thing to know is WHEN YOU GIVE YOU GET. try being EXTRA nice to people go out of your way for them( dont get stepped all over) but just try to be nice. do chasadim.. and yea most importantly DAVEN FOR SIYATA DISHMAYA. there are many people out there who are in need of a friend… they are in the same situation as you!! your not alone bro
Anyone on this thread from Passaic?
Chacham- you write like someone I know. Are you from Passaic?
Jam out on my elctric guitar, hang out with friend,go driving, and learn a geshmak dvar Toirah that gets me inspired.
This thread makes me sad. I hate to have to focus on chestoinois. So instead of talking about where it apears more Nd in which circles, everyone just try To take this to heart nd if Ur someone who does that stop it! Nd enforce it with Ur children.:) Nd u never know who will set what u did it can make the biggest kiddush Hashem, most non Jews when they take something off the shelves they don’t go to put it bck, but we are a nation raised above everyone else. Verrumantanu mekol haleshoins. A non Jew can see u do that Nd say wow Jews are amazing! Also for a Jew to see they might b inspired to act in the same way. We can take this thread to a whole new level.!!!:)
I always had that in the back if my mind, but never got around to saying it like you did! Good job! And for some reason I see it MUCH less in out of town communities .the parents tell their kids go put it back on the shelf! Also from people who are full time learners they and their children don’t act like that!I wonder if anyone can pinpoint what it is. And say it better. Like the people I see acting like this, are people who think everything is coming to them. And they are to cought up in themselves an what they are doing to care about anyone else.
