Asking for pictures is sick. Seminaries ask for pictures because they want to have a good ratio of girls getting married soon after seminary, so they pick the prettiest girls. I personally know that they often sell the folder of pictures to shadchanim and prominent politicians like Mitt Romney.
Think about it. They ask for a picture from the side also? What, to make sure you are really thin and not just hiding behind a pillar?

Very often the wife withholds visiting rights because the ex is not capable of responsible fatherhood.
