    I,ve heard b’shem HaRAv Chaim Kanievsky Shlit”a that it’s better to daven w/o a minyan w/ a hat then w/ a minyan w/o a hat.

Consult your LOR for halacha lemaseh but this is just a thought.

It rocks da house open till 1 or 2 every night. also koldkuts in flatbush partyhouse till 230am thursday nights and deli52 in boro park till 430am thursday nights. BROOKLYN ROCKS DA HOUSE!!!

It’s so funny I go to Torah V’dass and didn’t hear about it till two days later. The Torah vdos block and surrounding blocks are pretty good but if you go more then a couple blocks, it’s scary.

Torah Vodaath charges $8,000. If you have a couple of kids there they give a nice discount if need be.

the Rosh Yeshiva in Torah Vodaas is Rav Yosef Savitzky Shlita. Rav Belsky is not Rosh yeshiva, Rav Belsky gives a the smicha shiur. Rav Reisman is not rosh yeshiva he’s a magid shiur in the beis medrash.

Torah Vodaas is a mix between Litvish and Chassidish. When RAv a av Shraga Feivel founded the yeshiva he didn’t want it to be leaned towards either way. So in some ways it is litvish and in some ways chasidish. But it only attracts the heimeshe litvish crowd not the chassidish.

I don’t want to explain a movement cuz it may lead to l’h. But it is a shtickel chassidus, although it’s not chassidish

the sgan menahel in torah vodaas is a well known mechanech, rabbi ephraim glassman shlita, and the menahel is a massive talmid chacham, rav moshe schoenblum shlita

chaim berlin is more like a movement, their called chaim berliners. The limudei kodesh is good but the secular studies department is not great.

Torah vodaas has a very strong limudei kodesh department, and also offers a good secular education but it’s not a movement, its a yeshiva. The rabbeim are very close with the talmidim in Torah Vdass

Again you repeat a question that I already answered. I don’t know exactly what changed. But i do know that it did significantly change multiple times since then, the last time being 2 years ago.

mod. 80, stop making these stuff up.

wolf, once again, it’s mind boggling to me how you sit for hours arguing with an 11th grader when you claim to be a person with children in high school, having to support a family. Like what’s goin on here?

wolf, as i said earlier, you obviously don’t know what the current trigonometry course includes. I don’t mean to say that nothing in the current course is useful, but what I do mean to imply is that a good portion or maybe even the majority of the current trig course is useless, in 99.99999% of fields. You are just assuming that trig is a hard subject that i’m not interested in learning, so i’m just saying it’s useless. So you’re just replying and saying that it’s useful like everything is. FALSE. IT’S USELESS.
