    Ubiquitin,

That’s so funny because Obama asked to use my account!

I love the Jewish people! That’s why I disrespected Netanyahoo, love bill ayers, and Louis Farrakhan, and gave billions to Iran just so they can have nukes in 10 years! But trust me I am the closest goy to a Jew possible!

Remember whatever happened in the Arab spring was Bush’s fault!

    Vr67,

    You don’t understand liberals

A liberals law is his emotions,

Those poor helpless ILLEGALS aren’t breaking any law if you’re a democrat

Whereas if someone won the presidency through the electoral college he’s illegitimate

An abortion isn’t murder to a liberal (and for that matter pulling the plug) but don’t cut Garfield’s fingernails because it’s part of his bone

    MDG,

What kind of question is that? So what if his father in law wore a watch!

If a non gebroktzer had a father in law that gebrokt would he tell him not to?

    Obviously not!

Now if a rebbe that didn’t gebrokt had a talmid that did he obviously would say not to gebrokt in front of him

    Ubiq,

To answer your second answer’s question (I know sounds a little confusing) those rabbanim didn’t want the PC police coming after them and make their life miserable

A good example is the story of ???? ??? ???? but over here it doesn’t matter so much if they hold women’s suffrage or not because it’s already done with

In other words if you asked them 200 years ago they wouldn’t be afraid of saying no

    Ubiq,

How do you know they didn’t hold those things?

    1) did you ask them?
    2) even if you did maybe they didn’t want to get into an argument and have it spread that he holds those views

What type of mainstream rabbanim are you talking about we’re they litvish, chassidish, sfardim?

And this is how I’m answering your first question

All I know is what my rebbe tells me and both my Rosh hayeshiva and the Rav of my shul left eretz yisrael and live in the states so it doesn’t seem like there’s a ???? to move to Israel, and just like there are countless gedolim that live in the states

Even if you are correct that doesn’t mean that a Jew will be safe from antisemitism if he moves to Israel any more than if he moves to kiryas Yoel

I’m trying to say there’s no cure for antisemitism until moshiach comes (even if we all moved to Israel)

    Milhouse,

I’m sorry I’m not being clear

    You stated

“No, because the “10 shevatim” are a myth. The gemara states as a matter of halacha that they don’t exist, and gives only three possibilities for what happened to them:

    (1) Their exile only lasted a decade or two, until Yirmiyahu went to Chalach and Chavor and brought them back. If this is so, then most of us are probably descended from one or another of them.

    (2) The first generation that was exiled had no children and died out. The only surviving members of those shevatim were those who were living in Yehuda at the time, or who found refuge there, and thus never went into exile with the rest of their tribes. Some of us are descended from them.

    (3) The Sanhedrin, using the power the Torah gave it, declared them to be goyim. They can never come back. Again, the only Jewish members of those tribes are the descendants of those who never went into exile.”

I never said they were lost I said that they’re from them (the passuk says Ephraim which connotation the 10 tribes, Ephraim was their leader)

So what I assume you meant is that everyone married into everyone and there’s no “yehuda” or “Ephraim”

So I asked what does the passuk mean when it says yehuda and Ephraim
