theres one on ave M between 16th & 15th under the train, on kings highway and east 10th on the corner, there’s another one on kings highway and east 15th, a new one just opened up on Coney island between n & o in the BP gas station,there is also one on ave P and east 19th, if you look there are a bunch all around…

Hi, I am sefardic & I live in Brooklyn. In general, Converts are not accepted at all in the syrian community in Brooklyn. Whether its getting into schools, Marriage, etc.. it is very hard for Converts. My mom knows converts who had to move out of New York because of this. 🙁

The prerequisites for medical school are(more or less the same for every school, some are a little different but they are basically the same):
Biology 1 with lab
Biology 2 with lab
Inorganic chemistry 1 with lab
Inorganic chemistry 2 with lab
Organic chemistry 1 with lab
Organic chemistry 2 with lab
Physics 1 with lab
Physics 2 with lab
Calculas 1 (depending on which school)
English 1 & 2 (also depending on which school)
& a bachalers degree is needed also with all of these prereq’s
You also need to take the MCAT.
For law school all you need is a bachelors degree & you have to take the LSAT.
I am not sure what you need for business school but I think all you need is a bachelors degree & you have to take the G-MAT

I highly doubt that Harvard accepts ppl with a btl. Harvard has over 10000 applicants a yr and only around 450 are accepted. They would problem accept the ppl with a ligit degree than the ppl with a fake degree like a btl. And don’t try to argue that it is not a fake degree, face reality

You gotta do what you have to do. You can’t worry about other people. If you need to go to college, go!!! Don’t worry about what other people think of you. I’m in college & I learned that the hard way. If they don’t like it, they don’t have to look at you. Hatzlacha!!!
It’s not that they allow it. I’m sure that most of them officially don’t allow it. It’s just that they can’t do anything about it. There’s a limit to what they are able to enforce.

Because why would any 25 yr old mom in the right state of mind start college???? especially if she has 2 kids and will probly have more in the next few years.
Brony: touro undergrad is a very decent college. I am in touro undergrad now and it is very decent. With a high gpa he should not have a problem getting into any medical school. I have friends who got accepted into top medical and dental schools from touro, including Harvard, Columbia, NYU, etc….
You are absolutely crazy. It takes 10 to 15 yrs of schooling to become a dr. If you would have a bachelors degree than its a different story but to start with a bachelors at 25 and than go to medical school is pathetic. I would suggest than u go for physician assistant. It’s shorter and a very good degree. I know some people who started at around your age and went for a physician assistant and they are b”h doing fine. And if you want to know how I know this, I am in touro now and I have a couple of friends who are going to medical school and some who are going for physician assistance. Good luck in everything!!

You could apply for financial aid. B”H I am fully on financial aid. Its a long and annoying process but it pays off at the end when you are not paying a penny for college.
