i’m 18- and most of my friends feel the same way- we have had discussions about this amongst each other- everyone tells me it’s gonna change when i get back from sem- i’ll let you know if it does-
would i watch a movie? yes- but it depends on its rating and why its rated that
would i go to a movie theater? no! never!!
would i want a tv in my house? no!!!!!
speaking as a counsler- i feel you should tip- can you take care of 18 ten yearolds? and its in sleepaway- so they are all home sick- if you are sending your kid that young then you really should tip because your kid doesnt know how to take care of herself- no matter what you think- at home she might shower, eat, brush her teeth, cleanup etc.- but in camp trust me its dif- tipping is NOT optional!!! and if someone thinks it is- they should try being a counsler- its really hard!!!!!!!- and also just because your kid says the counsler is “mean” to her- pls ask why- because it might just be because she didn’t give her attention at that specific second she wanted it, or because she made her go to an activity or cleanup! and dont feel bad asking that counsler- or the jc- they would prefer for you to understand rather than you think they are a “bad” counsler and not tip them- 98% or 99% of counsler and jcs deserve to be and should be tipped!!!

mikehall- facebook is a whole different story- on other types of places the discussions between men and women turn to flirty and inappropriate discussions- but on the cr- most threads are not like that in anyway! thanks to the Mods 🙂

hey! i only post when i am already out of school and when i don’t have homework or tests which is why i will be a.w.o.l. the whole next week.(well most of it anyway) Finals are coming up… and if i don’t pass all 5 of them (only 5 cuz my english classes only give the regent so all i have is my 5 hebrew classes), i don’t get a diploma!

I don’t think there is anything different- if a teenage boy can be on it, why can’t a girl? Isn’t it better than other stuff they would be going on? like Facebook? And if you don’t want us in your conversation just say so- but in the same way that we don’t belong in certain thread conversations, certain thread conversations should not involve teenage boys. See? I didn’t use a single !, omg, or lol!
as to why many of us are at home all day: (i just got home btw) assuming these teens are in high school it would be for a number of reasons
1) senioritis!!!!!
2) took a day off to study for a test
3) took a mental health day
4) had off because of AP’s
5) was sick

10 yrs ago i was in 2nd grade and we found out because some parents called the school to pick up their daughters because they were scared- i was petrified cuz my father left to the airport that morning- later he told us everyone on his plane was watching on their screens until someone pointed out- just look out the window-
now i was in my room and my parents called me out to tell me- we sat reading stuff online and listening- for over an hour waiting for obama to speak- i ended up going to bed cuz i had a test the next day 🙁 those r 2 days i wont forget

he did! nothing can improve upon Hashem’s perfection- we are each perfect and special in our own ways- no one can tell you your not!!! if they do it’s because they feel they are not and they dont want to be the only ones!!! on another note- talents aren’t whatmake you special- what makes you special is whats inside!!!- and before the cynical ppl say i’m just saying that because i dont have a talent- that is not true- everyone has a talent whether its loud and out there or quite behind the scenes observing- and if u dot no ur special talent then u have some serios self introspection to do- because- Hashem created everyone with one and its your job to find it- because your tafkid is to use it to bring yourself and others closer to Hashem!
