    Gamanit,

As someone that responds to emergencies, I can assure that you most people when having a TRUE medical emergency male or female do not care who the tech is.

    Health,

You are totally wrong, OB calls used to be BLS, its changed and became an automatically ALS call, in the system and in Hatzoloh.

Any imminent OB call, will have para, edics on the scene, unless its just a fancy taxi job.

The reason behind the change if protocol is because most women (not chasidishe that always wait till its to late) that call EMS for a delivery usually have poor prenatal care, therefore the protocol demands that Paramedics be called even though its a BLS skill.

I have been reading the arguments of both sides, I really think that this should be discussed with the EMTs and Paramedics that currently do it, see what they have to say.

Again, in new square, because they must have females on the transport (per the rebbes protocol), they have a hard time finding EMTs and Paramedics for OB calls. A serious married person does not want to sit in an ambulance with females, especially if they are part of the crew.

It might solve the issue of “some” female patients being more comfortable, however it raises halachik questions

I will tell you why it will not work.

There are a lot of issues that have to be handled, which are far more serious than a male delivering a baby.

There is the issue of being in the back of the ambulance with two female responders, there are some members that do not respond to OB calls only they feel that it is not right that they should be together with Females riding home from the hospital.

After all they were through a dramatic situation, it is more than normal to discuss it and give your personal opinion on what should have done differently, etc.

Each delivery in NY gets ALS, there will always be paramedics in the back of the bus. Some medics have already sent off the females from the bus due to

    Health,

    ;

Your a bit off, in New Square, males respond, the females get picked up either with the bus or a member picks them up, they get dispatched (or paged) only AFTER there is a full regular crew.

In fact, it isn’t really working in New Square, the members admit to it. Its all because the Rebbe decided to do it.

will they respond in their private cars using lights and sirens?

My parents would not let me join any groups, however when I was older, they really had no way of holding me back.

Looking back, I clearly understand why they would not be thrilled with the idea of me going collecting with groups on Purim,

Basically its an unsupervised group of teenagers, drunk and hungry for fun.

Boys that never smoked had their first puff. Others were overly drunk.

Some boys were talking and acting very inappropriately.

I cannot understand how the yeshivos or organizations permit this, they have an obligation that their students (especially if they are collecting for the yeshiva) to have some sort of supervision.

For those that really care about your children, keep them at home, make it as exciting as you can.

I dont know why people are making fun of this poster.

In some circles it is not acceptable for the men to be into their clothing and styles. That is why the men (usually the more yeshivishe) will all wear the same clothing.

This person that she is (supposedly) dating is wearing more of a stylish pair of socks, I can see why she is bothered by this, after all this is the choice of her lifetime. (unless this is a troll..)

I do not know much about Antwerp.

However here in the states, I doubt that you can remove anyone’s children just by making the claim that you know that they are suffering.

Your user name sounds like your name, we know your age, we know that you will be the kohen of a Daniel yehudah that was recently born. And that you are the uncle of this baby.

Sorry about changing the subject, just a friendly reminder!

I will not go into details, but here are a few reasons, if the car I want (due to size and specs) does not have a lift gate, but will have in the newer model, it pays to wait.

If it will have a smart key, it might pay to wait.

Anyways, thanks for being so helpfull.

I do not know the ins or outs of the situation.

However after the fact, it is understood on why no one wants to associate themselves with the father.

He is one sick man, he stated that having boys in a girl school makes the school better.

I for one would not accept this persons children.

The argument that the children do not have to suffer because of the father is invalid, since although they got pulled into this by force, they are still in it.

If they would start watching TV at home, it would be understood on why the Chasiddishe mosdos do not accept the children, even though they have not chosen to watch TV, I think that the same applies here to.

    A few observations.

One child has chsidishe payos (the older one) the other has it tucked behind his ears, more like the litvishe style.

The wife keeps on looking on her Husband when he speaks, which (IMO) shows that he is the one doing this, she only got dragged into this.

The Children try not to look to their sides, obviously they are not comfortable with this situation.

i think that reason is because NK is not a club, it is a belief to which no one wants to be associated.

Therefore although he quit and is no longer an active member, he still might be a lunatic.

I wonder if he tried satmar, and if they also refused him entry.

However if you need a prestigious degree, then it might not be the best option.

Lets not forget about this, do not do ‘favors’ such as taking packages overseas for people, unless you are fully aware of what you are taking.

When asked if you are taking packages for people, tell the truth.

I would suggest that since it can wait a day or two (using your scenario), then rather get on the phone with a referral organization and see if they have any surgeons whom they would refer you to.

Last thing I would do is, just listen to the ER Doctors advice without checking with someone that specializes in this area. (I know that some situations are different and do not have time for more consultation, however I was not referring to emergency situations).

I have nothing against doctors who practice emergency medicine, however they are not the ones who should make the decisions regarding non emergency surgery.

I am sure that you would not rely on the advice of an ER doctor if you should or should not have surgery done.

    health,

Thanks for the freebie, (although there wasnt really any info there..)

However all I stated that one should consult with a doctor or surgeon that specializes in gallbladder surgeries.

Before opting for surgery it makes sense to have someone study your case, someone that specializes in studying it.
