Cell phone batteries that dont die or last 24 hours!!!!!

that would be great. This is what i do and it makes the battery last longer.

I plug the phone into a timer. charging too long actually weakens the battery. it goes on 3 hours before i wake up. try it.

Looks like they teach you how to sell on-line, assuming you have a product to sell!!

if you don’t have anything to sell you’re wasting your time, if you do, this could help you with exposure.

    who cares?

maybe we should stick to topics we have control over, or halacha, hashkafa, etc..instead of really wasting so much of our life here, with questions that either make no sense or our thoughts will not change anything!

I think it was the chofetz chaim, who said fools talk about politics, as there isn’t much we can do about it. that would definitely apply to a lot of the topics here.

    I can only try

I’ll ask you for mechilla, as this isn’t about you, or this topic per Se, i just for whatever reason decided to express it at this time.

    it’s an age old question.

do they have a right to make me wear a seat belt?

to tax cigarettes, a legal product through the roof? or soda for that matter?

do they have a right to make me pay for my employees health insurance?

the list goes on and on, and yet they don’t seem to realize that people shouldn’t have the right to do like gay marriages, and yet they do leave that for the public to decide, sick!

i was going to write that you’re one of the few with a solid brain in your head, then you wrote you’re a bubby, i guess that explains it, EXPERIENCE is a great thing!!!

I’ve been saying what you wrote for years, and all i get back is “it’s a zechus to pay full tuition”

i WANT to pay full tuition, let me know what it cost for my child to be in school, don’t expect me to drop my “cleaning lady” to help sponsor the next child, whose parents have a “cleaning lady”!!!

I don’t even mind paying more but don’t make it mandatory, (for example i said I’ll give $10k more than the cost, but only gave $8k don’t tell me my children can’t come to school next year until the $2k is paid), and give me a receipt for the donation.

    A) deep down you don’t want her favors to stop.

    B) you’re very insecure, which leads you to crave others approval (i hate to say this but i would recommend professional help, almost all terrible things ppl do, is for compliments, and to be recognized, get someone’s approval etc..)

    C) let me be the first to congratulate you, on doing the right thing, by realizing something here is not right!

    Of course it’s a lie!

as far as shalom goes there, are times we MAY say a lie, but it’s still a lie.

ps if you don’t pay membership in that shul, it’s actually not your seat, even if you daven there every day.

pps I was pleasantly surprised by your thoughtfulness, it’s a shame you wrote it didn’t happen.

    1) i doubt a child wrote it, a parent wrote it to get more sympathy, and it seemed to have worked.

    2) is it fair that rich zevulin goes in to the pizza store puts down $5.00 and walks out with 2 slices and a soda, while yissocher asks for the same thing, with no money and was turned away? why should a yeshiva provide anything for free?

that being said, if you’re asking parents to pay more than the actual cost of tuition, to subsidize other students, then make sure you’re charging what they can afford! also if you’re charging more than it cost, i think the parents that pay full tuition should have the right to see the books. what is the principal taking? how many kids does he have on the payroll? etc..

as far as the question of holding back the report card, they do have the right if tuition wasn’t paid, but i don’t see it helping much. parents can’t print money, or withdraw what’s not in the bank.

would it be ok to take them to a strip club, and after spending a few hours tell your son those ppl are doing things they shouldn’t be doing? or tell your daughter, now that’s how you shouldn’t dress?

of course we can’t lock them in a closet, but why take them to places they shouldn’t be in? why open their eyes if they don’t need to be open, why put them through the test later?

if that’s not what parenting is about, what is it about?

you can’t give a hungry child a cheeseburger and preach kashrus!

we’re told to stay away from the opposite s*x until marriage, but lets turn on the tv and see how enticing they look.

besides it’s not so simple to hear a female sing even on a radio, why force it on Jewish customers, this isn’t a discussion of what to listen to in your car or home?

and if only 10% of the readers here understand that, we have a serious problem.

it’s amazing how after reading all these posts again, how few people are bothered if their kids are exposed to “goish” music.

then ppl wonder why so many are going off the derech!

if i was a young child listening to goish music, was allowed to watch tv, etc… who would want to be frum??

i always thought it was a parents job to protect, and yes shelter to some degree, our most precious possessions, the kids.

not run to the psychiatrist during the commercial to see why children are doing what they’re doing.

One of the main reasons for selling kibbudim, is NOT TO HAVE FIGHTS IN SHUL.

say what you want, if it’s given free every year and there is only one psichi neila, it’s only a question of time that someone starts screaming “when will it be my turn”?

there was even a fight a few years ago in prison, someone wanted a kibud and didn’t get it etc..

on a side note, the rich do deserve the kibbud, as we discussed many times tuition is partially subsidized by the wealthy, they are also the big supporters of tomchei shabbos, hatzoloh etc services the ppl that don’t have money use, the least they can do is say let the wealthy get the kibbud!!! hakaros hatov is just as important as the kibbud in question!

i love the tuition comments, the rich ppl should pay everyone’s tuition, and if they don’t want we have stupid comments about their cars and vacations.

why should they pay other ppl’s tuition?

and ppl that have no money blame the school for not making it easier on them to not pay.

it’s pretty simple, your child, your tuition problem!!!!

you can ask family members for help, get a job, beg on the street corner. just stop blaming the wealthy, and the school for your problem.

maybe the rich would be willing to help more if it was appreciated instead of demanded, and ppl felt it was owed to them.

Coins 9,10&11 on one side and 3 good coins on other if 9,10&11 weigh more than 3 good coins the coin we’re looking for is heavier and vice versa

coins 1,2,3&4 on one side 5,6,7&8 on other side

if balanced these 8 are even.

take 3 good coins on one side, take coin 9,10,&11 on other side

if balanced, coin 12 is bad, compare to any coin to see if heavy or lighter!

if 9,10&11 are not even and weigh more or less, put 9 on one side of scale and 10 on other side of scale, if even 11 is bad, if not then you know if it’s 9 or 10

if 1,2,3&4 goes to one side then 9,10,11&12 are good

take coin 1,5&6 on one side and coins 2,7&8 on other

if even 3 or 4 bad weigh against each other

if it goes down on one side we know one coin is light on side a or 1 of 2 is heavy on side b

weigh 2 coins that might be heavy if even 3rd coin is light if not which ever is heavy is the bad coin

    1) goish music?

    2) a woman singer?

    3) music during the 3 weeks?

    4) and even if it’s ok at home, that it’s also mutar to play it in a public place, like a store?

i need your help in understanding this, i must have missed something.

    you wrote and i quote

“3) Music during 3 weeks. May I refer you to Rav Simcha Bunim Cohens sefer on “the 3 weeks” where he has a lengthy discussion on listening to music. While he does state that many (most?) poskim dont allow listening to recorded music, there are some who permit it.”

i looked it up and this is what he actually says

“you may not listen to any musical instrument during the Three weeks. This includes both live and RECORDED music. The prohibition applies to men and women, as well as children who have reached the age of chinuch.”

could you explain how that means some poskim allow music during the 3 weeks?

you say “Do they belong there, ever?”

that really isn’t the point, is it?

the point is a heimish store shouldn’t be playing goish music, with a female singer on top of it!

this wasn’t in a womans store, so why do you keep bringing it up?
