Its completely unconstitutional that flavored e-cigs were banned.

I didnt mean for this to become about the dangers of cigarettes. We can switch it to chosson candy if that makes eberyone here feel better. Im asking about the concept.
But fyi chosson cigarettes is still an accepted practice, and although i think smoking in general and regularly is terrible, i dont think this is the biggest deal

Reb Eliezer- whays the source for the part about chana
Gamily girl- thats what i was asking. Do you have any way of knowing that, like a source, or this is your personal feeling on the matter

But those examples are all about davening for a shidduch, like we daven for everything. Are there examples of shidduch being a nisayon, like there are of people who have difficulty having children.
I’m not sure if im being clear..

At what point is that determined to be the reason that they’re not married. Some people just take longer than others,No?

I’m attirvutign this to Michelle Obama only because I just finished her book “Becoming” and found it laughable that she spends a good portion of her book bemoaning the stubborn republicans. Seems obviously hypocritical to me. Im.not saying there aren’t faults on both sides, but talking about impeachment for a whole term is like living under a rock. A new low

    Ctl,
I admit, you knowledge of American history is far stronger than mine. My main point though, is that the dems have become completely unreasonable when the sitting president is not from their party. Bringing an example of republicans acting similarly at a time of civil war doesnt argue the point so well

    Akuperma,
But with parliamentary elections, if the current leader cant lead his government they just call for new elections. America doesnt do that. So in a way they have a faster changeover rate than (thanks avik) we do

CTlawyer, isnt that a little different seeing as he was the vp, not the president that the majority of the country voted in.
Add that to the fact that he was from a state that no longer identified with the US. So it’s not a great parallel.

Ubiq, I’m not saying not to go through with it if its a mistake. I’m saying it doesnt make sense to me that theresa may is resigning so someone else can take care of brexit.

    Ok i hear your point.
So on that side I guess leaders constantly need to act on their citizens wishes. Just makes the whole country seem wishy washy to keep going back and forth.
You voted on brexit, so just do it. Backing out now is lame and embarassing

    Ubiq,
But that’s why we vote in a president. Because we like the decisions hell make. That’s what checks and balances is. Each branch has power, but ultimately no one can “get away with murder”. No? What am i missing

Minhag of chossons friends paying for limo is done by the more chilled crowd, and is relatively recent.
This explains why some of u have never heard of it.
    Its definitely not yeshivish.
Imho the chossons should be a man and figure out himself how theyre leaving the wedding

Wearing a white shirt doesnt make you more frum, it makes you more yeshivish. If youd rather be described as very frum and sincere but not yeshivish then go for it.
Cant blame people for assuming youre not part of the greater yeshivah world if you dont dress like you are.

Germany killed the Jews as a country. It wasnt some individual people. Yes there may be some outstanding germans that did not agree, but it would be fair to say that german=nazi.

Finding a productive way to keep onesself busy during their sonsingle years (fyi having extra money saved up doesnt usually harm ones shidduch prospects), doesnt mean that they are investing all their energy into their carreer as opposed to shidduchim. Girls can multitask.
