No need to work. Just watch all the hospital staff dance, and waste PPE on tiktok. Better to be poor so they can dance on social media, than have a functioning economy!

$2300 for a sheitel equals a lot of tichels/snoods, and gives a mitzvah every second!!!

I guess you’re lucky that you didn’t wake up with that bowl of kimchi, because kimchi is 100% trief.
    1. We do not have a mesorah for it, AND
    2. Authentic kimchi is made with baby shrimp (saeujeot) that disappear after a few dats.
So now you’re lucky that you do not need to rekasher your kitchen.

    He’s not just “some Rabbi.”
He’s Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rav Yitzchok Yosef shlita, and is very concerned about klal yisrael.

@yitzchokm and @toi do you consider yourselves a greater posek than him?

So it seems as though those still supporting wearing a sheitel are merely posek shopping. The Chief Rabbi was 100% clear that ALL sheitels are trief. There is nothing wrong with wearing a tickel; moreover, that has the added benefit of saving lots of money.

The governmental courts cannot decide inherently religious matters, and marriage is a key one that falls under this. So there will NOT be any forced toieva marriages by frum rabbis.

I think I edited it correctly for my final point.

    5. Public benefits. It’s well known that many Americans rely on public benefits to make it through the month. The GOP wants to end this. So then what about SNAP benefits that feed many Americans? Well the GOP wants to throw it all away. We’re supposed to take of each other!

Things are not so easy, but at least under Biden things will be better.

    >1. How about Biden and ABUSE of Women and Abuse of Power?
Do you have any SOLID proof of this? There exists court records and payoffs from Trump. Moreover, you avoided the main question of my point: “Would you hold Trump as an example of a Ben Noach to your children, and say his middos are satifactory?”
    > 2. If Biden was in Charge, there would be Millions of Deaths! Most Deaths from COVID19 is Mostly in DemonRats States.
With all do respect that sounds like political partisanship. Do you have any evidence for this claim?
    > 3. Businesses are Hurting from all the Lib Riots!
Trump can stop these riots, but he won’t because they serve a political advantage to him.
    > 4. Demonization of PD was started by Obama & VP Biden.
Not true! In fact it originated with a doctoral thesis with some one from a law school titled “Are cops constitutional” and then we saw right wing militia groups rise up shortly after.
    > If there is No Law & Order – there is No Community!
Agree, so why can’t Trump get law and order in place? Does he not have the leadership skills to do so?

    4. Political polarization. It used to be that you could disagree with someone politically, and go about your life. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case where if someone puts a Biden sign in a Trump neighbourhood they are figuratively placed into cherim. This is wrong and destroys our community.

    3. People are hurting. Not just klal yisroel, but non-jews too. Many are relying on food banks and free pick up lunches to feed their children. This all could have been avoided if Trump was honest about the virus from the beginning (as he was with Woodward), and the USA did the right thing. B”H we are okay here, but how are our single mothers/divorcees hanging in there.

    2. Pikuach Nefesh. With over 210,000 Americans dead, and countless fellow yidden suffering the lasting effects of COVID, it’s important that we save all lives from this monster of a plague. Yes my sons complain about wearing a mask to shul (we all wear glasses for eyesight), but when they see Trump with no mask and saying the plague is a “democratic hoax”—despite many dead—there is a real problem here.

I will list my reasons. It seems the other post is too long.

I honestly cannot bring myself to vote for Trump for some of the following reasons:

    1. Poor Middos. Would you hold Trump up as a good example of Bnei Noach for your children? I certainly cannot. Moreover, even my younger teenagers are not permitted to watch the debates because of the horrible language that comes out of his mouth.

Why not attend a shuir together (yes you both will be sitted separate), and then get coffee afterwards and go for a walk? Then you have plenty to talk about (example the shuir) while walking and enjoying warm coffee, and that can allow to see if your hashkafa lines up together.

    Just an idea.

    What do you think?

I was mistaken to support Heshy. I just watched a shuir by Rabbi Yaron Reuven (Jewish HaShkafa PART (21) at around 1 hour 21 mins), and he explains why it’s wrong to support Heshy’s actions. Please accept my apologies for starting this thread.

How would you feel if you brought covid home to a loved one, lo aleniu, and something terrible happened? There are halackic ways to not have a beard. It’s good that you’re going to your Rav about this. As for the sikh doctors, since when do we try to mimic the goyim? We were brought out of mitrayim for maintaining our identity and not doing as the goyim do.

    >As an aside, I seriously wonder if republicans will be happy with Barrett in 10 yrs, or even 6 weeks.

Sure, she believes in notzri narishkeit and has no problem eliminating the barrier between church and state. The GOP loves that! Remember when they were all too happy to bring the notzri “rabbi” infront of the world as an example of Jews love of yoshke (ימח שמו) and they pretended that there was nothing wrong with using such a “rabbi” after the Pittsburgh shooting to honor the dead?

in reply to: Supreme Court Packing #1909395

Packing the Supreme Court will never happen. It’s literally Fox News propaganda from the Trumpkopf to deflect from the real issues that the American people face due to this current administration’s failures.

While I do not like the current administration’s Supreme Court pic, the president has the obligation to nominate someone and the senate should confirm or deny that candidate. What the GOP did in 2016 is morally reprehensible with Obama’s nominee.

I hope many wake up and realize that the GOP does not care about anyone except for the mega corporations, and vote this people out of office. I doubt that few ever reach the level of being a macher where the policies that the GOP puts forward really matter.

Yeshiva.co has a short write up about this with halachic sources:

    Question
It is my understanding that many Torah authorities urge parents to refrain from this Spanking ones children.
If it is permitted currently, are boy children, to be treated differently than girl children? If yes, why? If no, why not?
Any good works available on this subject?

    Answer
There is no blanket halachic prohibition against spanking one’s children for educational reasons (Rashi Masechet Makkot 8a; Shulchan Aruch HaRav Hilchot Nizkei Guf VaNefesh, article 4). The Vilna Gaon (commentary on Proverbs 19 18-19) writes that one should not spank his children when he is very angry so as not to punish them more than is necessary to achieve an educational purpose. The halacha forbids cruelty and requires that only a minimum amount of force, if and when necesssary, be used (see Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah 245 10 and Pitchei Teshuva Choshen Mishpat 424 4).

ATTENTION those that believe in the Trumpkopf:
Why shouldn’t someone be able to sit at the kitchen table and fill in the ballot for the cadidates/causes that they believe in while having access to the Internet to research the pros/cons, as needed?

FYI, not every yid that wants to vote by mail is a BLM supporting reformnik! Maybe people have a different hierarchy of expectations from their government and do not fall for the Fox News/OAN xtian rasha news propaganda!!!

Anglo “ghettos” are more expensive because many refuse to learn hebrew, and move from a richer anglo nation to ey and thus the demand is greater.

@ResidentMortal which part of Trump’s “tachles” do you like?
His telling white supremiscits to standby and refusing to denounce their horrible ideology?
His lying, cheating, and stealing (all of which were on full display last night)
    – lying: obvious.
    – cheating: not abiding by the debate format rules that they agreed on.
    – stealing: he kept interupting Biden during Biden’s speaking time and thus Trump was stealing.
Or perhaps you like Trump’s frequent lashon hara against those he disagrees with.

@🍫SyagLchochma No one said anything about the next president being a ben torah, but at least the next president should be a righteous bnei noach.
