tutors can charge as much as 65+ per hour.

    But this is wrong!!

make sure your’re not ripping the parents off. If you don’t have experience, don’t charge more than 20 an hour.

in our community, its more of an issue for the mother in laws to seek the trophy daughter in law as a wife for their son. Not that the boy themselves need the perfect in a ll areas wife.

Abba is a name one can call their father, but it is not actually their father’s name. Its a problem when they have a friend named Chaim and their father’s name is chaim as well. Saying abba is ok cuz if you were calling your father, it would be ok to call him by that name

This is a great pareve ice cream/cream pie.

    one whipped topping

    one 16 oz marshmallow fluff

one pkg.(10/12/16 oz,) of strawberries, blueberries…)

whip the topping, and blend everyhting else in food processor. then fold the mixture into the cream.

pour into a crumb pie crust and freeze. doens’t freeze solid so don’t take it out until you want to serve.

You can try with two different layers/colors.

I made this for a yarzeit siedah as a dessert(my wife gave me the simplist recipe she had so I had less room to make a mistake 🙂

Hey!!! I’m a new yorker through and through and I think i’m nice. 🙂

I just meet so many more people on one trip to the grocery than most ppl. from OOT meet in a day! So it’s much more practical to just go about your own business and not try to be friendly to everyone you pass. 1/2 the people you pass you say hello to anyway cuz theyre from your shul, block, koillel, shiur…

I did well in school b”h but I had a brother who didn’t and it was very tough hearing him complain about how difficult it was when there was nothing I could really do to help him out. And by boys even after high school, learning is still important and continues ones whole life but at that time if one has a fulfilling job, it’s not as hard as when in school thats all there is.

    “its your best years”

I don’t agree. I think there’s life after school and for those that find it very hard academically in school, keep your chin up and weather the storm til it passes.

P.s. My wife is a teacher and I hear how some kids are really struggling and it’s still the first week of school!!!

I heard that a girl who is naturally on the quiet side drank a little wine right before her wedding and again before dancing just to help her overcome her natural shyness and be able to greet [eople happily. I thought it was funny but now i see that it was a good idea because otherwise she would’ve been too quiet to greet people appropriately

Maybe try to make babysitting plans in advance so that you can just tell her you already have someone.

Also, maybe try to visit her more often just for short visits so that visits to your house will be cut shorter too because she’ll see the kids all the time and wont feel like she needs to stay long so that they’ll become comfortable with her.

    Hatzlacha!!

If I was a moderator, which I will certainly not be doing (please!), I would add a feature for people to tag their "favorite" comments so that we could see how relevant any particular post may be on here

I think it would be good to have a “like” button under each post to show that you agree instead of having to send another post saying that.

that children be taught to go into a store and tell an employee they need help.

This makes sense to me. And the idea of a woman with children if there are no stores is good eventhough a psycho can have their own kids too as a coverup but it is hopefully not the case.

buying a new air conditioner at the beg. of the summer and giving back an air conditioner at the end of the summer is a total chillul hashem eventhough according to store policy regulations it is allowed.
