No, now is the best time for safety tips. Isolated safety tips are usually ignored.

I understand that it may be more effective, but I still think it’s in poor taste (particularly in the other cases of tragedy).

the design of this cubby (and many others like it), leads to items falling out.

Had the comments been to the design of the cubbies, it wouldn’t have bothered me as much.

Individuals perhaps, but not the klal. All such comments directed to the individual had been deleted.

It may not be obvious to you, but it is obvious to some of us that the individual was (even if unintentionally) being targeted.

In your opinion. Which is my point. And the need to keep singling out the comments and commentor based on opinions of some, but not all, is probably more potentially L’H which is the very reason why I keep deleting it and trying to curtail this conversation.

I have had this objection before. I don’t know if it’s technically lashon hora, but I find it very distasteful when in the midst of discussion about an unfortunate occurrence or even a tragedy, people bring up what could or should have been done differently.

Whether the intention is to lay blame or not, that is undoubtedly the result, and whether it be lost tefillin, or a fire, or a vehicular accident, I sure hope the loved ones don’t read these discussions.

Save the safety tips for a different time, or keep it private.

Individuals perhaps, but not the klal. All such comments directed to the individual had been deleted.

Being dan l’kaf z’chus is not the issue here. You can be dan l’kaf z’chus what his intentions are, but the words and their context are what they are.

ZD, hindsight is 20/20. Thousands of people leave their talis and tefillin in cubbies in shuls all the time. There was the occasional theft (although a miniscule percentage), which is why, I’m sure, there are cameras, but this is an even more rare occurrence.

YWN reported: “In that shul close to 2000 people daven and learn there each day. The Tefillin were placed securely in a cubby outside the Beis Midrash.”

It is wrong for you to insist on laying blame.

Up to 21. At that point, they’re pretty much on their own.

ZD, where did the funds come from? You make it seem like a decision was made to specifically spend on this instead of on other needs. That’s doubtless not the case.

There is a lot of money being spent on far less worthwhile endeavors than saving tashmishei kedushah from bizayon.

    Donna Brazile.

If you somehow think voting for a candidate is approving of their morals or tactics, we could rarely if ever vote.

It isn’t though; it’s showing hakaras hatov to the U.S.A., and voting for who we think will be the best person for the job.

We don’t look at politicians (or sports stars, or entertainers) as role models.

That’s what we should be telling our children.

Yes, but what was hapening was often when people became sick insurance companies found reasons to drop them.

You don’t need Obamacare to fix that, you just need to keep the insurance companies in check.

and even group plans were only not allowed to restrict those peopl if they hadnt gone 63 days wihtout coverage.

In other words, only if there was continuous coverage. Nobody disputed that.

The reality, with abortion now being almost entirely legal, is that any change would still allow exceptions.

There’s no way it would change overnight from always legal to illegal even when threatening the mother’s life.

As we’ve seen from Obamacare where many insurance companies are opting out, many companies are in it for the quick buck, so when things don’t pan out as planned and profits tank, they simply make a u-turn…

Precisely why Obamacare gas got to go – we’re getting fewer and fewer choices, and before you know it, nobody will offer plans under Obamacare in some areas.

Internet is potentially worse, but it has a lot more practical (and sometimes necessary) functions.

TV is primarily an entertainment tool (the vast majority of which is treif), which one can get along fine without.

Trump brushes off David Duke support

    BY JESSE BYRNES

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Friday disavowed a former Ku Klux Klan leader’s support.

“I didn’t even know he endorsed me,” Trump said while unveiling an endorsement from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, when asked about former KKK grand wizard David Duke’s support.

“David Duke endorsed me? OK, alright. I disavow, OK?” Trump said, seeking to quickly move on to another question.

What’s driving the increases nowadays (which I wasn’t aware of earlier so I didn’t mention it) are the cost of mental health, and simply more people consuming more medical care.

What the ACA added to that is that now, those paying in full for insurance are subsidizing those who aren’t.

We aren’t inviting him into our house, and we didn’t elect him to be role model in chief.

The question which should be foremost on our minds when choosing a politician is who will do a better job, furthering our interests.

It is a personal attack for someone to repeatedly insist that you have no cheilik in Olam Haba.

It is no more a personal attack on you than your saying he was motzi shem ra was a personal attack on him.

In fact, you should be thanking him for pointing out that you were malbin p’nei chaveiro so that you can apologize and correct your behavior and avoid gehinnom.

    (Based on:

I do have to say that I am puzzled by the fact that you have not once thanked me for trying to spare you from Gehinnom!!! Aren’t you happy that I let you know that what you said was Motzi Sheim Ra so that you can try to have it deleted and avoid gehinnom?)

I gave many citations. No one has been able to show why they do not apply here.

Yes, I did. It was quite obviously speculation, and you have only provided sources for something stated as fact.

I know, you have repeatedly said it was stated as fact, but as has been repeatedly pointed out to you, Abba_s does not know the subject, and everyone knows he doesn’t, so it is clear that it is speculation.
