Who exactly did you “get back” at? Last I checked, Chazal were not out to “get” anybody.

“I have better things to do with my time than think about the words coming out of my mouth”

You obviously have better things to do with your time than to think when you post.

an E-book will never replace seforim, no matter how cheap they are, because you cant use elecronic seforim on Shabbos / Yom Tov.

Wow, I just saw this thread and I’m shocked that the first option most people came up with is a drug (or even a natural pill)!

What about making sure that your son doesn’t have anything with caffine in it for a number of hours before bed time. This includes chocolate and coffee flavored products (like Coffee yougurt or icecream). There has been much said about food coloring contributing to this sort of problem also.

There is no reason to start giving children drugs or suplements before ruling out other problems- and even then only after consulting with your pediatrician!

Some people have the minhag to turn out their pockets to symbolicly show they are throwing out their avairos.

Emptying out your pockets from bread is done before Pesach.

To the CR I am kind of new,

and posting alot I don’t do,

but then I saw this thread

and fell right out of bed

and I knew I just must add a few.

(Here is a limerick according to the style of Dr. Seuss)

There once was a man from Xan Xu,

who just didn’t know what to do,

    he had a pet florenge

    that swallowed an orange

and now was a fla flee flo floo.

So while some think that Seuss was the best,

I don’t think he passes the test,

    His words all made up

    without using his kup

to ryme one of his words with the rest.

    – All generalizations are false.

-Sometimes as I lay in bed at night and stare up at the stars, I think to myself, what in the world happened to the ceiling?

!- You could go to the tzadik yourself to have him daven for you, but this is easier.

2- They are davening for you and you get the zchus of giving the tzedaka. Its a better shot at having the tefila accepted.

But there’s nothing wrong with giving tzedaka just for the sake of giving tzedaka and not getting anything in return.

There are gedolim now adays who are against photos, for example, R’ Don Segal shlita and R’ Chaim Kanievsky shlita (although many pics of him are around from when he didn’t notice people taking them). I think also R’ Moshe Shapiro shlita is against pics.

As far as I know the CC never came to America. He had a passport made for his planned trip to Eretz Yisroel.

He was very much against people taking pictures of him.

Sam2: In this weeks Hamodia Magazine there is an interview with R’ Yisrael Yenowitz, who himself is a talmid of the Chofetz Chaim, and he says the pic is not him.

If the meat has a sweet taste then its fine. We don’t eat pickles or foods with viniger that have a bitter or sour taste. This applies only on rosh hashana and not aseres yemai teshuvah.

If we didn’t braid them they wouldn’t be challahs, they would be loves of bread. Everyone knows that on shabbos you need challahs and not loaves of bread.
