    Usually the term חבירו refers to another person/item similar to the first one. In בבא קמא it uses the term by two animals. So it doesn’t mean friend necessarily.

    I saw this year that the reason why Rabbi Yehuda gave his mnemonic was to tell you that this is the correct order as opposed to the way they are written down in sefer tehillim.

    your’e not alone, this is very common. There are a few options 1. take some drugs to knock you out. But someone will need to drive you home. 2. An eye mask works wonders for me. You don’t realize how confined it is. 3. There is something called an open MRI which is open on the sides. The top is still close to you, but you can see out to the side. Hatzlacha Rabbah hope it goes well.

    there is a very good book called the total money makeover by Dave Ramsey. It is written for people who have a lot of debt but also has very good advice on budgeting.

    I think living within a budget is our way of doing the histadlus that we need to do. Living within a budget also shows self control. Maybe the problem was saving money? Is that a lack of bitachon?

    i was always brought up with the chinuch that if a person is going door to door even without a valid certificate, you should give them something. Of course if they have a certificate, you should give them more.
