Regarding global warming, I like to look at the headlines to understand the true message from Hashem – a method I’ve learned from Rabbi Pinchos Winston. There’s a medrash that before the mabul it was always spring and will be the same after Mashiach comes. I think that’s the true hint of the words globsl warming – to remind us what’s coming. Not necessarily because of of what scientists claim, but because Hashem will alter the world as He sees fit.

Yes, this is the law. In some upstate counties there have been two-cop teams – one will be in the squad car down the road and the other stands by the edge of the sidewalk and takes a step the moment a car passes by. He radios ahead that the car failed to yield and the car is ticketed. You’re just a cash cow.

I don’t think it’s much different than gambling. Halacha holds a gambler regrets losing and is only betting because he thinks he will win (asmachta). This kid likely has no idea how the real world works and got in way over his head. He’s responsible for making a really dumb decision, but the punishment is usually way too harsh for the crime, hence the pidyon. It’s a tough call, but we all make mistakes, sometimes way bigger than we can handle and Hashem forgives us and bails us out. We should try to emulate Hashem and we will ultimately succeed. @Yabia Omer – Nowhere do we see it being ok for women to take out a Sefer Torah and read it for themselves. They are breaching protocol and “poretz geder” and that’s what makes them dangerous. The Ashkenazic community in particular is extremely wary of these movements and breaches, as they have seen first-hand the havoc they have wreaked on Jews worldwide.

Side point, if it’s not a conspiracy to force people to vaccinate, why has N-ACETYL CYSTEINE (NAC) been pulled from shelves around the country? It’s been over-the-counter forever, but suddenly some people are taking it to boost their immune system and it’s pulled from the market?

@mdd1 – why don’t you prove that people die from Covid? Most of the people – 76% IIRC had at least 2 co-morbidities. Why don’t you show how many people died from intrusive and unnecessary ventilation? Of being starved to death? Stop fear-mongering. People don’t die from Covid, they’re dying because health-care practitioners are not being allowed to treat them with effective medicines.

The vaccine is causing untold injuries and they don’t prevent catching covid, or spreading it. There are people even getting sick with “super colds” now (google that), likely due to the vaccine taxing and destroying their immune system.

India’s Utter Pradesh has eliminated Covid deaths, while a neighboring state with 85%+ vaccination rate has death through the roof.

Anyone believing or taking the vaccine and still wearing masks has been sold a bill of goods. Get with the program. You’ve been duped.

@mdd1 numerous personal stories of women who have been niddah for months, women who advocated for the vaccine having miscarriages, and worse. Statistically, there is more danger in the vaccine than covid. Pure and simple. There is no reason to take a “vaday” dangerous vaccine to prevent a “safek” danger from treatable covid.

You’re not going to find “real” studies, because those are being supressed. Doctors who know, and who are not “owned” by big pharma have been giving them out. People who take them are being healed. Joe Rogan just recently took it and was back to normal in 3 days. It’s mostly anecdotal due to the communist book-burning and censorship we’ve all been under.

@ujm – I didn’t say they have decades treating COVID. They have been safely used around the world for decades. Compared to a new vaccine with myriad reports of horrific outcomes, I’d take the former 1000x compared to a dangerous vaccine. Especially considering that 99.7+% of people survive COVID fine.

@ujm – Remdesivir has been killing people. And the rest have barely been invented, so once again, the side effects are unknown, as opposed to decades with HCQ and ivermectin. The newly announced Merck drug also seems to be ivermectin reformulated under a new name.

Option 1) Take an vaccine made of new technology, never used before in mass populations, with absolutely no data on long-term efficacy and/or dangers. Lots of anecdotal evidence of dangers and serious issues/paralysis/death being encountered by vaccinated individuals. Vaccinated individuals are both getting and spreading COVID regardless of their vaccinated status, as well as being hospitalized. Stats of “unvaccinated” being hospitalized are skewed because they count anyone not vaccinated for 14 days as “unvaccinated” to cover up any injuries by the vaccine.

Option 2) Do nothing. Possibly get COVID. Effective treatment is available with monoclonal antibodies. Risk of serious injury or death is very low (below 0.01%) for people without pre-existing conditions (overweight, diabetes mostly).

Option 3) Do nothing. Possibly get COVID. Take a well-tested drug that has been used for decades such as HCQ (over 60 years old; so safe, it’s sold over the counter in many countries) or Ivermectin (for which the inventor was given a Nobel prize) which has been shown to quickly prevent replication of the virus.

You’re very right. It’s a pattern of progressive erosion of personal responsibility at the expense of society in general. Some people want government care cradle-to-grave. They expect others to pay for everything and are raising a society of incompetent buffoons who feel entitled to other people’s resources.

The numbers are unreliable. They are counting anyone vaccinated within 14 days as unvaccinated. Many epidemiologists believe the vaccine is weakening the immune system and causing the patient to become MORE susceptible to infection and worse. The whole thing is a farce. If you haven’t realized the propaganda and moving goalposts over the past 18 months, I suggest you open your eyes.

Just see the situation in England, where a young girl is being held hostage due to “health decisions” by a court who determined she must die. Her parents want to take her to Israel at their own expense, but are not allowed to. The judge ignored the fact that they are Jewish, and pulling the plug on her would be a violation of faith, because ‘the girl is too young and has never practiced religion’. The same thing happened with Charlie Gard in 2017. They are literally holding a child hostage because they can.

Stop giving the government more power. The only reason why insurance has skyrocketed since 0bama, is because he mandated coverage for insane procedures and coverage for “children” (up to 26, and now 29 years old I believe). Insurance has now become unaffordable for most middle-class people who aren’t on all the government programs. It’s absurd!

Since we’re living in a world that has the truth literally hiding (Ha’emes Ne’ede’res’) – Rabbonim, Askonim and many others have been acting out of actual panic and without proper evaluation of the situation required of a Beis Din. The FDA did not properly vet the vaccine, and nobody can confirm its reliability or safety. The same FDA and CDC that pushed this vaccine at “warp speed” denied usage of medicines that were deemed safe for over 60 years and are used over the counter in many countries worldwide. Do you trust those people? Are those the experts we’ll base Halacha on? I surely hope not. How about the CEO of Pfizer who told Fauci about the vaccine being ready before the November election, but refused to announce it until after the election, lest Trump benefit from the announcement. It’s. All. Politics. You. Are. Being. Played.

The Lancet (the most highly regarded medical journal in the world) published an article in April showing the vaccine is delivering actual results of 1-2% reduction in transmission. This entire virus/weapon has been hyped beyond our wildest comprehension and China is laughing all the way to the bank.

I won’t deny the virus is real – I was sick in bed with fever for 3 weeks and could barely move. What’s criminal is the denial of life-saving medicines that already exist; starving and dehydrating people to death in hospital rooms because nurses (Riiiight, let’s make a parade for “front-line workers”) wouldn’t tend to patients. There are abundant stories from first-hand accounts – people who died and were found with notes in their pockets where they wrote how they are dying of thirst and being abandoned and ignored.

I’ll pose this simply – if one dies or is seriously injured by the vaccine will they receive any compensation from any insurance company? Will life insurance pay? No, they will deny, and have already denied any claims, citing that the vaccine is experimental. That’s all you need to know. If anyone wants to take an experimental DNA modifying drug to possibly prevent a 0.001% chance of dying, good luck to them. All the more so children, who have not been affected at ALL from this virus. I’ll stick with Sofek u’voday, ein Sofek motzi mi’dei voday – the risk of the vaccine causing injury of any kind is higher than the risk of the virus which a person may not necessarily contract. And if a person already got the virus, taking the vaccine is just propaganda to the max – denying Hashem’s ability to give us natural immunity that is far superior than any man-made vaccine.

Your rabbi is trying to point you in the right direction, but he might not be aware of the details and struggles that you have. As others mentioned above ADHD people have a hard time keeping to a routine. If you can schedule yourself (and follow it!), great. Otherwise, wallowing in self-pity and despair will probably send you spiraling out of control.

It’s best to do whatever is necessary to help yourself. Some have success with “mindfulness” – paying attention to breathing, davening, etc. to stay in the moment. It trains the brain to focus and can help in the long-run. But if it’s wreaking havoc on your life, it might be wise to discuss medication with a professional – even if only used temporarily while working on yourself.

    All the best

Insurance companies look at the “big picture” and they are likely subsidized by government to give out the vaccines. This is for general vaccines. You can look up the rules for each insurance company. They pay doctors a bonus if they give 10 vaccines per child for 85%+ of their patients.

On a macro scale, yes, maybe this covid vaccine works or at least doesn’t do harm. On an individual level however, there are significant risks that far outweigh the benefits IMHO, especially for children who are barely affected by the virus.

Gun control is where it’s at. Every single murderous dictator outlawed and confiscated guns before their brutal, murderous campaigns. As someone put it: ‘If the Jews of Europe were armed, and SS officers had to worry that they might not return home to their families that night, things may have been very different’.

As Jews, we understand that we’re always going to end up being a target, and that Hashem is directing everything regardless of our physical preparedness. However, we still must do our part. Unfortunately, the current state of affairs in Israel (due to communist tactics) is not very appealing for many.

The reason the studies failed was because they gave very high doses of HCQ to people who were already very sick. HCQ cannot heal COVID, together with Zinc it can only prevent the virus from replicating at a high rate, preventing the cytokine storm that was responsible for overwhelming the body and causing ventilation (which sometimes did more harm than good). The added Azithromycin was to prevent a secondary lung infection (bronchitis/pneumonia) from developing due to the damage already inflicted by COVID. There is ample evidence that very early treatment with this protocol could have prevented many deaths. Anyone who has traveled to Africa has already taken HCQ as a precaution against malaria – it’s even sold over the counter in many countries.
