My humble opinion on this controversy is simple-
A person must act and live according to what they claim to be. Therefore music like Akapella & Gershon Veroba whom clearly state on their albums that they’re doing parodies of non jewish music and are more “modern”, they are clearly singing for that type of crowd which therefore enables people who prefer not to listen to non jewish parodys to not listen & doesn’t usually interest the ultra ultra orthodox crowds- (when is the last time you heard chassidim listening to Gershon Veroba???- although I love his music myself!!!)
The problem arises when one looks chasidish or really frum, therefore really frum circles will associate with him and follow all his stuff sometimes not even noticing what a non jewish ta’am has been put into the material because “he’s one of us”. This is clearly wrong in my humble opinion for many obvious reasons…what do you think?

Oh come on everyone- the anti semitism in gateshead is way way over-rated! They are the friendliest non jews ive ever encountered! Obviously motze shabbos when they’re drunk and have had a few too many they might shout a curse word but thats it!!!
From what I know there are two seminaries in Gateshead, New & Old!
I think the Old is more intense than the New regarding studies and actual students there. The New caters for more of a diverse crowd and apparently also has fantastic Shiurim. I heard there are loads of israelis there and ivrit speaking frenchies so you’ll be fine!
Gateshead really is a great place with everything a girl could possibly want or need!!!

Hmmm not sure how wise it is to mention no.5- i think that could be quite a dampener on a girls approach to seminary instead of coming with the attitude (even if its wrong) that seminary is out there to make you into a better person…Just my thoughts

Personally I think everyone needs to take a chill about these “invasive and intrusive body-scans”. People- face the facts were all human beings and we all are basically identical so besides for the problems of tznius I don’t see why people are kicking up such a big fuss at having their photo taken- especially men who go to public Mikvaos. Pat downs I can imagine are pretty uncomfortable so just go for the scanner its over in a sec and just take a chill!!!!
Now regarding Tznius, I honestly don’t think there’s any problem at all with someone looking at these chalk like images with the main features blurred…and even if they can see something, the whole thing is for safety and might even go into Sakonos Nafoshos, and if a doctor can check you- these people certainly can!!!
This is just my 2 cents and I really think it makes sense (ouch- very corny pun!!! Not intended 😉
My wife owns a Number One and a Gold Custom which are both internationally known for their quality and pretty cheap in price. My wife did extensive research before coming up with these 2. Apparently the Number One is one of the hottest selling makes around.

Very lucky shot. I took it in an airshow in England a few years ago. The rainbow suddenly came by and the commentator said that the planes will specially fly over it for all the photographers out there.
