Little FroggieParticipantWow. Was I born yet then?!?
Little FroggieParticipantConfusing relationships?!? Try יבמות!!!
Little FroggieParticipant‘scuse me?
Anything I say makes sense?!?
Little FroggieParticipantOK. Yeah…
On that same vein… Lot (Avraham Avinu’s nephew) found a shidduch.. (actually it found him!) it brought about Mashiach… maybe we should also permit…
Little FroggieParticipantI just brought it into my home!!!!
THIS POST
Little FroggieParticipantOK. I’m starting to stop… or maybe stopping to start…
Oh.. and btw THAT was Yanni’s great, grave mistake, מונחת בקרן זווית.
NO. NO NO!!! We have a Mesorah that must be transmitted father to son, Rav to Talmid. Torah is NOT a free for all. ישרפו ואל ימסרו… and the little that comes to mind about the great tragedy NS darkness that descended when the Torah was formally ‘translated’. So no, I mean yes. There is a Torah World. And that’s where the the Torah will be disseminated, discussed, learned, toiled… לא עשה כן לכל גוי, not for the ‘neighbors’ or the like minded.
Little FroggieParticipantMaybe the design bothers the people here. You forgot I identify with and as Froggie…
Little FroggieParticipantCA – Thank you SO MUCH for that very warm re-welcome. Unfortunately (!) I don’t lurk (live) here the way I used to, from time to time something in the masthead piques my curiosity. This was one I couldn’t pass.
There’s one thing of a newbie coming on inappropriately, not knowing the ins and out of this place, and has to initially be shown the conduct expected (yes, me included… oy, such memories)
Then there’s another, one who comes on swinging with the bat… at the site itself!!! Couldn’t hold myself back.
Sorry, OP, I’m going to defend the hallowed grounds I lived in (ate, slept…) 24/6
And while we’re at it pray tell which Jew is 4 Biden. Which human is?
Little FroggieParticipantWhat an ugly, unreadable and dysfunctionable post. If fact I can’t even read it.
Little FroggieParticipantI would go back to the point I became cognizant of my surroundings… and redo everything I goofed!!!
Little FroggieParticipant… AND THEN HE OPENED HIS MOUTH.
That’s the beginning of the story of a quiet fool, whom every respected at first…
OK, we all know this “piece” was tongue in cheek, it screams that out at a cursorily glance. Actually there’s not one comprehensible sentence there. It’s such a poor attempt, such hogwash from beginning to end. Spelling is atrocious, grammar awful (yeah, full of awe). Structure? Content?
I’ve been to this site quite a long time… (I used to LIVE here – the fact that you can’t recall me is quite an indication!!), any time someone makes an account and instantly begins to froth at the mouth… gives him (or her) away. We know all what we need to know, and then some…
When you’re a newcomer to a place, cool your engines, first observe your environs, get acquainted with your company, study how things work. If you’re going to mingle with others and engage them in conversation, know your host / group / crowd, consider the proper form, attitude, fashion, tone of engagement and communication.
Didn’t Mommy tell you that?
Little FroggieParticipantI’ll volunteer
Little FroggieParticipant.. He wrote it himself – “I’m fed up with my comments and posts”
Little FroggieParticipantHow do you know what the words in the Kesuba mean?
(How do you know how to pronounce them?!?)
Little FroggieParticipantHow could I forget?
May 31, 2022 6:39 pm at 6:39 pm in reply to: Slavery — The Torah True Way (with Reb HaLeiVi) #2092948Little FroggieParticipant(WOW. A whole thread in HaLeiVi’s name. He made it. He finally made it!!!!)
If I’d be HaLeiVi, I’d say (or write) that the proper way to engage in limud HaTorah would be in Yeshiva, Shul, or in the home. Over a Gemarah or Rambam, or you own favorite sefer. Maybe the one you yourself wrote too. That is the Torah view. Since contemporary society does not implement it, we too do not. We do not seek to make others uncomfortable or pained. We discuss these aspects in Sevrah as any other Torah related concept, say as Kodshim, Tumah vTaharah, these are Divrei Elokim Chaim. Every word, every sevarah – precious pearls of Torah. But it’s not Nogea for today’s society.
But I’m not HaLeiVi (unfortunately), so I can’t say (write) it.
Little FroggieParticipantC’mon, could you imagine little ‘hareidei’ kids chasing after Israeli police “Paroh, Paroh!”. It simply doesn’t have the same ring.
Little FroggieParticipantWhere exactly is the “Temple Mound?!?”
Little FroggieParticipantWhy should Unites States do it? Did Unites States own a slave?
Little FroggieParticipantWhat does this have to do with פרשת בחוקתי?
Little FroggieParticipantLet the mere fact the these ‘mentalists’ changed their battle cry from ‘global warming’ to ‘climate change’, let that speak volumes. Even THEY don’t preach warming anymore, cause it doesn’t make sense. What’s warming? In Brooklyn, (an unheard of hamlet, somewhere situated on planet Earth) the weather these past month were much, much lower than average. Global means the WHOLE globe as a whole, not just one specific area the ‘mentalists’ decide to choose from for their ‘statistics’ (and of course they’re going to look each time for a different place).
So now it’s climate change. Like beforehand there was no weather (Gosh! What were the conversations like those days.. there was NO CHANGE OF WEATHER)
HaShem is in charge; is, was and will be. He created a most perfect world. He’s at the steering wheel, come and enjoy your ride. No additional attempt at ‘assistance’ is required nor warranted.
If you have an urge to improve in His world, why don’t you make it a more moral, decent place. There’s definitely a mass global moral decay, eating away at society at an alarming frightening rate. Morals and standards of yesteryear, to any society, are being ripped away in the name of progression… a rapid progression to animalism. The race to become an animal..
Little FroggieParticipantWhew!!!! Finally after 12 yyears… (+)
Hmm, what can I contribute??? (maybe the kid’s page??)
Little FroggieParticipantExplain to this individual that ANY task related to the Torah is an honor. In times of old, certain communitied would sell the honor of “Hoshata”, extending or handing over. His sole kibbud was that of handing over the various vestments of the Torah to the Golel. And it was considered an honor, something worth enough to be sold. The Torah is מכבד את מכבדיה, as the piut so says, so consider and Kibbud related to the Torah as truly an Honor.
Tell him Little Froggie said so.
Little FroggieParticipantPlease close this thread. I CAN’T STAND THE TASTE (for some reason)
Little FroggieParticipantWell did you ever wonder why mine aren’t? THEY ARE Yeah, I know, but it took a long time!
Little FroggieParticipant.. And now you’re doning the same to me. I came here to do work.. and you interrupt me with your rant. Couldn’t you understand that you’re wasting my time? There’s a reason why I’m not looking at your piece.. oops I’m mean I did, no I didn’t…
ps
Does anyone else realize the same thing happens when we’re in Shul Davening.. using our precious time communicating with HaShem… and someone else sidles along for a shmus..Little FroggieParticipantWow! Just logged on and saw your beautiful post, Syag. Thank you. And will try to take your lesson…
I’ve not been following the backlash of the story, just heard clips of this “Rabbi”‘s speach. What struck or stuck me is the he for heaven sake’s is a proclaimed “Rabbi”. And the world looks at him as such. He should know better. Give Heaven some due respect. Just some. If it had occurred in a bais avodah zara, you bet your boots they’d been praising osa ha’ish over and over. You’d hear their ministers and “mispalelim” over and over, in all their broadcasts and interviews, mention oso ha’ish. Because that’s what a galach does. Shouldn’t even a reform Jew who professes to be called “Jew” know and love HaShem just a tiny teeny bit enough to mention His Name?! It’s not YW, any Jew should be appalled at this chillul HaShem. Baruch HaShem someone in YW chose to stick up for HaShem’s honor.
Little FroggieParticipantOh my… it’s been a year since.. I forgot, it’s the rook that has to ruck. Three places to the right. Then wait till next nittel..
I don’t know what I have to do with the czar. (Was he my classmate or something?)
We’re now in the sugya of the correct way to place a getshke, should have done that on nittel
Little FroggieParticipantWelcome to the club
Little FroggieParticipantHow come the url says ‘seminary-11’???
Little FroggieParticipant.. And that took you seven years to think of?!?

I meant it a a joke. As are all of my posts. Including this one!

(R.E. If there was a coffee room, obviously there was a computer)
Little FroggieParticipant“UJM I guess you dont know how to read..”
1) Maybe he knows how to read but chose not to
2) Maybe he read and is not addressing the question
3) Maybe that’s his way of addressing the question
4) Maybe I don’t know what I’m talking aboutNovember 21, 2021 11:00 pm at 11:00 pm in reply to: What seforim does every Frum house need? #2031680Little FroggieParticipantBabylonian Talmud IS an anti-depressant
Many a good Jew buried their problems, their worries, their tzoros in the pages of the Talmud
November 21, 2021 9:07 pm at 9:07 pm in reply to: When the Coffee Room Started, George W. Bush was President #2031626Little FroggieParticipantI was busy inventing the computer
Little FroggieParticipant.. and someone 13 years old would probably know that coffee is spelled (whops.. I forgot)
Little FroggieParticipantSo which part of me is 75?
Little FroggieParticipantCoffee Addict, Unfortunately I’m not Eclipse. Neither is my other, older S/N. She was more mature, smarter, and had a sense of purpose. Take a look – she’s gone!
Little FroggieParticipantFrogette is a teacher for girls. She is my shliach, I’m yotze working with her. So in essence I’m doing a woman’s job!

Little FroggieParticipantMazel Tov! Did you say …Abba Bar Popa…?
Little FroggieParticipantThat is the question of the day, they claim it was paid, she claims it wasn’t who do you return the Kesuba to? Because if you return it to her, she’ll use it to get her money (perhaps a second time). The heirs (or the husband the case of Gerusha) have no use for it other than to prevent the woman from getting hold of it.
Little FroggieParticipant“..was knighted”
Like that!!!
ps wonder how you requested that job. Isn’t it one of the 10 commandments of the CR – not to request to be a Mod. We had to memorize them every morning at login, standing up, loud voice.. ” You shall not… you must…”
Little FroggieParticipantIn the case where he passed away (נתארמלה), it’s referring to the heirs who are paying the Kesuba (יורשי הבעל).
Little FroggieParticipantㅤㅤㅤㅤfarbycoffe, I left you a reply. Also, I didn’t imply I’m leaving ח”ו ל”ע (I can’t – I’m addicted!), I only asked where the {Exit} button was. Maybe they should program a {NEED HELP WITH MY HOMEWORK} button too.
And HaLeiVi (wonder who that is), memories…
Little FroggieParticipantBetter times ahead…
