There are numerous stories of gedolim that “steal” 5 minutes a day to learn something where in the end they make a siyum called a “5 minute siyum”

Rabbi feiner (Rav of the white shul in far rockaway) has an excellent 5 minute talk about it on TorahAnytime which I think people should listen to

BH my Rav did because I got it one time (that’s how I know) so I switched it to kosher retzuos (I can tell these are kosher, they’re different then the one I had before)

When I said “Additional round” I didn’t mean another election, I meant if there’s no winner then they go to the candidates who are out of the race and find out who their voters chose as second place
In far rockaway we held elections for our city council and in first round balloting Pesach Osina came in second
