Wow its been a long time since Ive been on here! So whoever recomeneded those other sites like kys, zivug zone, jwed, and other such sites, I do not like those, had horrible experiences with them. I almost found someone from saw you at sinai (almost got engaged) but didnt work out bh (you always need to thank Hashem when a shidduch does not work out I learnt that the hard way but anytime a shidduch doesnt work out I always thank Hashem now no matter how hard it may seem since I really wanted the guy but then he said no to me after a few months of dating, but looking back it was the best thing he could have done for me and no I am not currently dating anyone but I do not think it was sheyach at all, and thats why I said bh it did not work out.

Sounds like what happened to me, one thing DO NOT PUSH HIM TO SERVE HASHEM, he MUST come to it on his own otherwise it will backstab you and he will resent you. You MUST show him the footsteps how to get there but DONT push him into it. Maybe look into somewhere he can learn a few hours a day and go to college the other part of the day so that way when he iyh gets married he can support his wive?

Nechomah, on saw you at sinai they ask everyone if they want someone who wears a sheitel and skirt so that is not 100% accurate.

The guy I am looking into is a drop out chasid who became litvish. He is very religious and he does not want a tatoo and he wants a wive who will cover her hair and only wear skirts.

The guy use to be skver chasidish and now he is litvish. He is suppose to be a very good boy. Any idea why someone would go from being skver to being litvish? Should I give it a yes?

From what I heard from someone who was in a Lakewood yeshiva, it seems that OOT yeshiva are much more layed back. In the end of the day the guys who want to learn full time are the ones who become much more religious than everyone else and the ones who want to be more chilled become more chilled.

streekgeek, not everyone goes to Lakewood so often. Some have not been in a few years. Just in general good resteraunt suggestions and nice clothing stores for women.

Shidduchim are not easy. But I am dating a great guy who is much more religous than me now and limod, I completely stopped talking to the guy with tattoos (you should be proud of me). So I do not really have time to come on here anymore since I am dating a kollel guy now.
