Yes. When Dr. Belkin began the secular studies program. The Gedolim you are referring to learned there when it was only a Yeshiva.

There is no such word as optionary!!!
English and grammar and punctuation should be absolutely mandatory so I should not have to take a Tylenol after reading some of the comments on YWN!!!

ard: You are mistaken. I heard it from Rav Scheinberg himself when he spoke in Boro Park many years ago. He said that classical music is mutar to listen to during sefira as the issur is on dance music.
So dance tunes/beats/music whether acapella, recorded human noises put together to sound like music, electronic keyboards or real instruments should seemingly all be assur during sefira.

I bought matzos and picked them up directly from the Kerestirer Bakery. I bought both whole and shvorim. The whole were just about entirely whole, with a rare slight chipping. The shvorim were all broken as labeled.

The hospital just made a business decision not to do it in case of a recurrence of a once in a yovel event so as not to be financially liable.
I’m sure Planned Parenthood will step in and offer IVF treatment as their supposed goal is parenthood. 😀

Most shuls seem to be open with only a select few enforcing mask wearing & social distancing.
The truth is the police cannot legally enter a shul without a warrant to investigate as shuls are private property “members only”.
In the current riot climate the last thing they would do would be to close shuls, unless it’s after curfew.

Health: As a medical professional why would you be familiar with garlic as it is not a drug?
Firstly garlic is not an ” antibiotic”. It is known to have anti bacterial, anti viral and anti fungal properties so it should help for covid-19. As always consult a health professional before using especially if you have other conditions and/or are on medication.

Part 3: When a load is complete users should not only be able to leave the washer’s door closed, they can also activate a new feature called the UltraFresh Vent System that spins the drum at low speeds to draw in and circulate fresh air throughout the machine, sporadically throughout the day, to hopefully dry out any remaining moisture. The final line of defense is that GE Appliances has added Microban’s antimicrobial additives to the washer’s gasket, soap dispenser, drainage tube, and water pump in order to further discourage bacteria growth throughout the machine.
When the UltraFresh Front Load washers go on sale sometime in January of next year they’ll range in price from $899 to $1,199 depending on the size and optional features included.

Part 2: GE Appliance’s new UltraFresh Front Load washers take a three-pronged approach to the war on stink. The rubber gasket that creates a tight seal between the spinning drum and the washer’s door now features a wider design with a steeper angle that should ensure water completely drains away after a load, instead of hanging around causing trouble.

    Saw this on Gizmodo:
The design of front-loading washing machines can leave a laundry room smelling awful if you’re not vigilant about keeping it clean and dry when not in use. But who has time to regularly wash their washing machine? No one. So GE Appliances redesigned its UltraFresh Front Load washers with some clever upgrades that prevent odor-causing bacteria from thriving.

While bullying and public shaming are harsh actions, there are other options. Recently I was in a shul restoom and smelled obnoxious cigarette smoke. I was able to see from which stall the smoke was wafting out. I rapped on the door of that stall and said No Smoking in Here! a couple of times. So, I protested the obnoxious behaviour without publicly shaming the perp. My action might be defined as bullying, however we didn’t even see each other so that diminishes the bullying factor.

The work I’m referring to here is childcare which I don’t believe is considered teaching.
In any case doesn’t the NY/NYC minimum wage law supersede the Federal one?
Additionally if employees have to clock in and work specific hours how can the employer call their wages a salary and exempt them from the minimum wage? This is not a project oriented job of “till the job gets done”.
This is not a hypothetical situation even though some may have trouble believing it.
Again I apologize for using the word slavery, I should have written, “Taking Advantage of Employees”.

Whatsaktome; I don’t know how old you are but I clearly remember from before ג’ תמוז how Lubavichers (& not from BT background but FFB Bnei Torah) would tell me how the Rebbe was bechezkas Moshiach going thru the Rambams criteria & explaining how he fulfilled them.
Also at one point they were crowing how the Rebbe proclaimed הגיע זמן גאולתכם

CTL; Your posts on this thread are incoherent. You claim to support enforcing the law such as a court order to deport a foreigner (in one case an Israeli citizen) who overstayed his tourist visa, yet you extrapolate from that a vile Hitlerite expulsion of all Jews while smearing Trump supporters as KKK types!
Just as all “Democratics” are not AOC supporters, all Republicans are not a basket of deplorables or KKK types.

Yitzchokm; So perhaps you can enlighten me. Are you claiming that a NYC daycare or pre-k provider with over 10 employees can pay them below the NYS minimum wage because it’s a “salary”? Please cite evidence for that claim since I can’t find any on Professor Google.
    Thanks
