Maybe we should not let stores sell matches or candles they are very hazardous if not used carefully and in moderation.

Yaakov and Chaim are walking in a forest when they see a bear in the distance. Yaakov quickly pulls out a pair of running shoes from his backpack and puts them on, Chaim says to him do you really think you can run faster than that bear? Yaakov says All I have to do is run quicker than you can.

What you mean is to MAINTAIN a car. Check and top off oil, antifreeze and, other fluids, fill tires with air and change a flat tire, a dead bulb these are not repairs they are basics and the manual in the car explains these things. Repairs like changing a belt or alternator, radiator do need special tools and a little knowledge, other things need diagnostics before repairs.

Maybe if the person is from Eretz Yisroel, Yom Tov ended Friday, only seven days, than avolus should start on Shabbos even if they don’t sit that day.

Sam and Jack are on line in the bank to deposit money when a crook comes in with a gun and announces that it is a holdup. He tells everyone online to throw their wallets to him. Sam turns to Jack and says quickly, here is the hundred dollars that I owe you from last week.

I did that, but instead of making a uturn I went around the block to get that empty parking space and as I was backing in to the spot I noticed a car from the other direction trying to make a uturn right there, and I did not give up the spot.

A father wants to test his two sons, and tells his sons to each take one of their horses and ride to the next town, and who ever’s horse gets there second will be the winner. So both sons ride their horses in circles and don’t know what else to do. Finally they go to the wise man who gives them instructions. Than both jump on the horses and quickly race to the next town to see if he will be the winner. What did the wise man tell them?

Am I allowed to have the lights on in my house on Shabbos or the refrigerator plugged in, What if my billing cycle ends on Shabbos? Is this different than an auction that ends on Shabbos?

Usually an auction can be ended early if the seller wants to, therefore it might not be considered that you bought it on Shabbos, even though that is the last chance that someone can outbid you.

an anticoagulant is a poison that causes the veins to thin and the blood than leaks out. Try putting the traps across the full doorway that the mouse cannot leave the room without running across a trap. If you don’t have enough traps than block part of the doorway with a box or something but don’t leave even a small gap they can squeeze themselves through the smallest space, they have no bones at all.

I always say push it off, you are not guilty until the case is over. If you postpone maybe the officer will retire lose his papers or anything else. It is possible a lawyer could do more for you than you your self in court but not usually only if there is a real trial and they contest legal aspects, otherwise whatever will happen by your presence is enough without paying lawyer fees.

This person comes up to heaven and the angels stop him at the gate and tells him that we have to review your deeds in life to decide where you should go. After a few minutes the angels say we can’t find enough good deeds to let you go in, but we see no bad deeds either. Then the angels ask this person if there might be any good deeds that he did and they don’t know about. The person tells the angel Yes there is. I was walking through a bad neighborhood and saw an old lady being robbed of her money, I jumped in front of her and told the three thugs to leave her alone and to disappear before I beat them up. The angel asks him when was this? The person replies five minutes ago.

A little thought I have. Before you started this K turn did you just decide to do it with traffic behind you or in front of you, or was the street clear and this person with the white van came out of nowhere and just didn’t want to wait? Making a U or a K turn is time saving for you, but what about all the traffic that you block and make everybody wait?

Many people are too busy talking are on their phone, or adjusting the radio/climate control and just don’t care. My thinking is there is even more reason to signal when you don’t see anyone, because if there is someone and you didn’t see him/her you won’t be careful.

SOMETIMES it is recommended to bother Hatzalah to get to the hospital. When an ambulance delivers a patient, the patient does get examined quicker than when walking in. Every case or situation can be unique but even a woman in labor sometimes needs an ambulance not a car sevice.

oomis You are correct if it is a medical issue a medical professional should heip, not a teenager or just any person, if it is NOT a medical issue than someone who is Shomer Negia CANNOT offer direct contact. Yes the person can move a suitcase aside, but not physicaly give a hand. That is what shomer negia is. Let me tell you that when I have fallen or tripped I try to get up myself. We are not saying it was an elderly or pregnant person, that is a different situation.

It really doesn’t sound like Pikuach Nefesh here. But there are ways to help someone without actually making physical contact. I would think that a bocher’s first thought is that he should avoid associating with a girl in ANY way, and you saying that there were a bunch of boys there, I would think that they felt their friends would make jokes about helping a girl, that should actually be able to get up by herself.
