I heard a shiur on this from an expert. He said Baal Peh never meant it couldn’t be written down. It meant it couldn’t be published. The Amoraim could and did write notes on what they were learning (just like students today, some less, some more). When it came time to officially publish it, the notes from various Rabbonim were put together to make one standardized copy.

Will Antisemites have to stop telling Jews to “Pick up the pennies”?

Only consider Baltimore if you believe in not judging a person based on their hat (or no hat), clothes, where they Daven or where they send their kids to school but by whether or not they’re a Mensch.

It will never work. Who gets to decide if someone like Ivanka is Jewish? There’s a bigger world than just Charedim.
You’ll also fan the flames of the Non-Orthodox saying, “You see the Orthodox don’t consider us Jews”
Its also wrong to assume across the board non-frum aren’t Jewish. I live in a major Jewish community and Jews married Jews both from here, often related. The intermarriage rate here is 20%. Assuming 10% are women and also Jewish men who marry a Gentile often leave the community, probably 95% of people claiming to be Jews here actually are. To assume their Non-Jewish is both false and highly insulting.

My family Farbrengs to very hard rock. We believe in elevating Non-jewish music and infusing it with Kedusha. Besides it sounds really great.

A KGB agent walks up to a Jew and says, “Why are you learning Hebrew, we’ll never let you leave.” The man says, “Oh no, I’m learning Hebrew so when I get to heaven I’ll be able to talk to people.” The agent says, “And what if you go to hell?” The man replies, “I already speak Russian.”

When will Chasidim wear long pants? Their short pants are a distraction to many.

How about you mind you own business?
Ever hear the story about the Rebbe and Talmid in the street and an untznius woman walked by? The Talmud ran and put his face against the wall while the Rebbe kept walking. The Talmid came back and asked his Rebbe how he could keep walking. The Rebbe said, “Better to see an untznius woman and think about a wall than to see a wall and think about an untznius woman.”
This shows you have the problem. Get help.
