Dude, Pfizer wasn’t double blind either.

Go to the FDA’s website, read the packet insert. it was a single blind, and the fda literally says, a. We don’t know how long you will be protected by using this vaccine, and B. We don’t know if this vaccine will protect you from covid.

    Its absolute insanity.

Meanwhile, since forever, whenever you tell doctor’s that you take a supplement, their response is usually, “supplements don’t have studies to show their effectiveness. They might not work.”

And then the genius doctor proscribes vitamin d for vitamin d deficiency. Contradicting themselves מניה וביה

Health, yes everything is spiritual, which is not what I said. I said Gog and Magog is mainly spiritual. Which means it is mainly spiritual. Which means it is a major waste of time trying to figure out which “countries” are involved when that is hardly the picture at all.

Especially if you are only looking At the physical and ignoring all the details that chazal have said about it, which would actually help you come to the correct conclusions about gog and magog, as opposed to try to figure out what country it is.

You can go inside the building and the lobby and see all the rooms and the penthouse, and all you want to do is to look at the revolving door on the outside of the building, as you “speculate” as to what gog and magog could be, based off no valid information whatsoever.

To try ro figure something out by only talking about the physical, is tipshus. Its all speculation.

Not one post of any actual details of anything having to actually do with gog and magog, really shows ignorance. Jumping to say Iran, shows even more ignorance.

    Its spiritual, mainly.

What is the gezeirah to not buy and sell? Atu you might come to do ksiva.

What is the gezeirah to not untangle entangled tzitzis? Its mitaken mana,

If anything, it would be worse than a dirabanan. How do you think its unequatable, fakert, its worse if anything.

I’m talking about people running their finger through their tzitis, which is what they do. Im not talking about spinning them in the air or shaking them.
I’m talking about baal habatim and Rabanim literally running their hands through the strings repeatedly. Like 500 times during davening.

I just saw someone doing this last shabbos, in a kimat frenzy, like he was peeling potatoes or something.

If its an issue, I, and klal Yisrael would like to know.

in reply to: Tzitzis on Shabbos #1897663

Yea, I make sure not to run my fingers through the tzitzis now. But I’m asking in general, for Ashkenazim, are they allowed to constantly run their fingers through their tzitzis?

By the way, it is equated to doing business on shabbos, because they are both derabanan. Its not a stretch, its on the same level.

I don’t think any of the above posts really addressed what Ashkenazi poskim have to say about this.

The discussion comes up with the chazon ish, about whether you can untangle them on shabbos or not, because he discusses if you can make a bracha on tangled tzitzis, and this is under the assumption that you cannot untangle them. He didn’t seem to say that he was talking about the first time you ever put them on.

the precept to believe in mashaich coming has nothing to do with thinking that he is coming today. that would be ridiculous. Imagine if that was the case, that we needed to believe that he was coming today, everyday.

That would mean that for the past 5780 years, everybody had a false belief, daily, in order to be a maimin?

no, that is not the derech, that is not the ikar of the Rambam. The ikkar of the rambam is to AWAIT him every day, and even though he did not yet come, to hope for him every day.

whatever you learned in elementary school, unlearn it.

I wrote a lengthy response. It didn’t go through.

Answer is -400 years not 430. We were only supposed to be there max 400 years, there are reasons given as to why the torah records it as 430, but we weren’t ever supposed to be there for 430.
    It’s really 400 minus 210, leaving קץ -190 years.

Yagata umatzasa taamin. Since you just more or less forwarded the same thing that everyone else is sending around, there is no yagata.

It all sounds very nice, but we were only supposed to be there for 400 years, so nice try, but no cigar.

The 430 years is the amount of time that the torah records us as being there, which is explained away by the meforshim that we were not actually enslaved for 430 years.

This has been circulating around the internet. And so many people have shared it. why can they just share something accurate, they are already putting the effort in….

Another interesting thought though-we know moshe was ערל שפתים.
    שפת ים.
Klal yisrael saw the mitzriim dead on the שפת הים. Then the geula.
We are currently in the year of תשפ.

Look, this started getting bad in our parts of the world by parshas ki sisa. The parsha starts by saying that we should take a machatzis hashekel in order to not have a mageifa in klal yisrael.

In reality, the machatzis hashekel was a response to the cheit haegel. It was only brought down first in the Torah, before the parsha of the cheit haegel, because Hashem is Borei the Refuah before the Makah.

A rich person would not give more, a poor person would not give less. Everyone becomes equal with the machatzis hashekel. Everyone has an equal share in the Karban Tamid, and everyone was Misached in the karban tamid, through the use of their money.

The sefarim hakedoshim, such as the baal shem tov, mention that money needs to be used in the proper way, and by misusing the money for thefor cheit haeigel, the were pogem in their money. They needed to do Teshuva for their misuse of money, by giving it towards the machatzis hashekel.

2 parshiyos later, we have the parsha of the ketores. The ketores had chelbinah in it, a bad smelling spice, referencing the reshaim, the message being that everyone is included in the ketores, even the reshaim.

The concept, I believe is Achdus.

Andrew Cuomo said recently that this virus is the great equalizer. I agree. I feel like everyone is now on the same level. No pesach hotels, no fancy trips. No showing off your money to neighbors.

Everyone has to sit at home. Some are even forced into bed, and cannot move. I believe Hashem may want us to get in touch with ourselves, as well as having achdus with gantze klal yisrael.

    אור פניך is gematria קורונה
If I may add, it is interesting that the Torah says that Moshe Rabeinu did not realize that he got קרן עור from talking to Hashem, much like people get קורונה lihavdil.

We have to understand that the very fact that we are able to see these things in a way that we have never seen before, seeing clearly in the torah, descriptions of what is occurring outside, is itself a sign of geulah.

Other sefarim have mentioned that the geula is terms that sound like vaccine like concepts.
For example, one pshat why we have a brach for geula in shemoneh esrei, way before the brachos of rebuilding yerushalayim and mashiach coming, is because we each need a personal geulah to have a shaychus to the full geulah.

The Geulah is like a Vaccine
Rabbi Eliyahu Dessler Ztz’l writes that the Geulah/Chevlei Mashiach is like a vaccine.

what is in parantheses is my own addition. A translation is as follows :

“It is known that there is a refuah, that is given to a healthy person, to vaccinate them. This is when inject a small part of a specific machlah into a a person’s blood, to get the good blood fighting against sick parts of the blood (if need be.) So too in Ruchniyus, sometimes we need to have a little bit of something really Gashmiyus put into us, even when we are being ruled by our Yetzer Tov, in order that we should be able to have it ready for us to fight when we need to. (Could this be referring to the internet?)

This is why Adam HaRishon was sent into the Gashmiyus, and this is why we have the nisyonos in the Ikva D’meshicha, because the hisorirus to overcome these nisyonos will bring us to the coming of the Mashiach.
It is impossible to know something without knowing the other side of it. The only way for a person to appreciate and know Ruchniyus is to see and know how Gashmi they themselves are.

This is why we have the Ikva D’meshicha and all the darkness that comes with it.

Now that we know that we are no doubt in the Ikva D’Meshicha, we have to be very prepared to withstand all Nisyonos, and to come to an understanding and see the difference between what is out on the street, and what is a Ben Torah!”

One of the reasons behind zemiros, bidavka on shabbos, is to protect from milchemes gog umagog, like on of the 3 seudos on shabbos is a segulah to be protected from milchemes gog umagog.

The zemira part is the shira to Hashem, kineged the cursing and apikorsus of gog and magog, and Shabbos is one of the 3 osos, that gog and magog come against, ayin the chassidishe sefarim.
As torah learning is also called shira, Torah learning on Shabbos is also extremely important for this inyan.

Dy- like I mentioned, it is good to not act in certain ways, no matter how appropriate they are, as it can lead a person to to being like that in other situations as well, where it isnt warranted.

you said you came here to mock meshichist lubavitch. Fine.
Then you used a gematria, for a joke.
    ה הַ אני תרולינג is gematria 770.

How is that not doing exactly what you claim to be against? Misusing gematrios?

You may want to mock avoda zara, that doesnt meant to misuse the Torah to do so.

I think this is self evident

Daas yochid- yes it is ok to mock avodah zara, but as we already know that even fighting against people who are actively pulling people away from yiddishkeit, has to be done ina good way. Having kpeida or acting with gaava, even in appropriate situations, is not good, because it will lead a person to have those middos in other areas of life.

    Correct?

An another note, there are mefarshim that say that when the gemara says that in the times of Mashiach, the sofrim will br despised, it is referring to the chochma of gematrios.

Gematrios is not just a cutesy thing.
The sefer kol hator, from the talmid of the vilna gaon, says thst the gaon held that everyone should know all of the gematrios of their names, and see pesukim that show those gematrios, for chizzuk.

Gematrios are brought down numerous times in gemara, medrash, and other places. Rav chiya bar abba had atbach- thst is befeirush in gemara sukkah. Almost all the chassidishe sefarim are full of gematrios, as well as kabalah sefarim.

This post is for anyone who dont like gematrios, and just because daas yochid made the comment, does not mean he is against gematrios

There are many rayos, clear clear rayos that yushka is mashiach. And i mean clear clear rayos.
Im not gonna go through them now, because it is all apikorsus and a waste of time.

Simple answer is, Hashem wrote the Torah in away that allows messed up people to read into it and mess up more, while more upright people will see the emes in the Torah.

Everything is in the Torah. Everything. Hafach bah vihafach buh dikulo bah.
So you will find a remez that the lubavitcher rebbe is mashiach, and that he is still alive, because everything is in the torah, and there are people who believe such things, so you will find it. You will also find references to mohammed, and to president trump, and george Washington…. its not important practically though, because everything, and I mean everything is in the Torah. Lies and truths. A person can twist the torah to find his lies.

Keep looking around those areas that say the rebba is mashiach, let me know when you find the remazim to sheker dorton.

Did anyone ever address this point- do “these proofs” say that the rebba is mashiach ben dovid? We do know that there is a concept of mashiach ben yosef, and that he might die.

No way in heck that is the rebbe? He has to be a dead mashiach that comes back? I mean come on, you have an opening to say he really was mashiach, ok maybe, albeit the first mashiach who paves the way for mashiach ben dovid? But you dont take that approach, you go for an approach with no mikoros.

Of all the times i have inquired from meshichists about their sources, the only answers I have heard are-
    A. Not gonna explain it to you
    B. I know a guy who really can explain it to you, a real smart guy who can shlug you up.

    Ok. Lets hear.

Regarding kaddish, it is asur to even think in divrei torah during kaddish, let alone to say tehilim. Once kaddish starts, you stop what you are doing.
What is halachically considered kaddish? My rebbeim have told me that it ends after daamiran bialma viemru amen. After that, the tiskabel tzloshon, is an extra part of kaddish, and at that point you can continue your davening.

As far as I know, if you gauge that without saying ashrei, you can catch up to the tzibbur, and either finish shemoneh esrei before kedusha, or start with the chazan and say it word for word with him until after kedusha.
