Pleased to hear about the popcorn machine at Oh Nuts. One would also assume that the employees don’t use the popcorn machine to warm up their lunches.

I heard that a particular donut chain that has a questionable hashgocha used to serve a parve vegetarian bacon until once the State kashrus inspectors found that the non Jewish workers had erroniously accepted a delivery of real bacon. I understand that they no longer serve that product, but things are warmed up in microwaves and with no Jew present in the establishment. What would keep the workers from warming up their meals in the microwave.

Certainly you don’t think that the d. donuts employees only eat donuts and coffee day in and day out.

Do you need donuts so badly that you’ll compromise on kashrus?

Nothing wrong with s couple of years older, but a 21 year old marrying a 35 year old woman – there’s something wrong there.

Disgusting practice, but certainly better than eyebrow, lip, and tongue piercing. Eliezer and Rivka were in the middle east where nose rings may have been common at the time.

    It certainly doesn’t add anything.

Considering the quality of the Republicans seeking the office, he will probably win. You’d think that their leadership would find a candidate that has a chance instead of the current field.

In the begining the Conservative religion was simply an Americanized orthodoxy similiar to the Young Israel movement. Shabbos, kashrus etc were not abandoned till later years. At one time in the 20’s or 30’s there were discussions to merge YU and JTS.

Over the years they have strayed further and further in a failed attempt at self perpetuation of a spiritually bankrupt religion, only to lose their members to orthodoxy and reform. There is no place for a middle ground.

Egalitarian temples do not differentiate between men and women and have women “rabbis” and cantors and of course mixed choirs.

Soloman Shechter would not recognize what he faith has become.

I also don’t like the look, but it certainly kept me dry this Shabbos. A top rated innovation for the community, like the Shabbos lamp.

If a designer logo was on it it would be a hot item for the goysha world too.

I’m an Ebay Power Seller and I sell one item that dozens of other sellers have listed. My price is towards the high end, but I have very high positive feedback and do ok. I advise you to look for what other sellers have, check the completed auctions for percentage sold and price and then find a source that can supply item at a good price. You want something easy to ship or an item you can have drop shipped.

I very much doubt that his family or any middle class family could afford the attorny’s fees associated with a case like this. I expect that the cost to run in the hundreds of thousands. Some lawyers thake these cases pro bono just for the publicity.

Based on my knowledge of drug use by a sibling of the accused, I would assume that he too used drugs and that may be the cause of his actions. One never knows what effects these illicit substances will have on one’s brain the the future.

Buying quality antique or older furniture is first class. Anything made pre 1960 is real wood, not particle board stapled together. Solid wood furniture should last a lifetime or longer. Stay away from upholstered furniture unless your’re going to reupholster it.

Basket of radishes: All the days you mention with the exception of valentines day are American secular comercialized holidays. Valentines day, although thoroughly commercialized has Xian origins and celebrates a “saint”.

I see nothing wrong with mothers day, fathers day, thanksgiving or even grandparents day, but the saints day is something else.

This problem does not exist in Villiamburg, Munroe or New Square since women there don’t drive. If we extend this ban to Flatbush and Boro Park we could solve the skirt problem, the traffic problem and the parking problem.

From what I’ve seen these denim long skirts are almost exclusivly Jewish attire. I haven’t seen obviously non Jewish women wearing them. A lot of respectable middle aged and older frum women wear them in Brooklyn.

Now those tight flashy clothes that I see in Boro Park, that’s where the problem is.
