Whatever gets recycled even at no profit to the city saves transportation and dumping fees since NYC trash is now sent to Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky and South Carolina at considerable cost for burial.

Imagine saying “I lost 1/2″ of thickness this week”. You would be asked “from where”. Thickness from the wrist isn’t the same as thickness from the thigh or waist. Radio commercials could say “lose 4″ of thickness in 30 days without dieting”.

All Yiddin should be Mashicists anxiously awaiting the coming of Moshiach. I don’t have a clue whot an Elokist is. The vast majority of Luvavitchers share our views on Moshiach with a few fringeelements holding mistaken views thinking they know the identity of Moshiach.

Trump solved the problem of having to flush the toilet 5 times and having to push the button on the dishwasher 7 times as he promised he would do. He also prevented windmills from continuing to cause cancer. No other President could have had these life changing accomplishments.

Trump issues statements daily and in almost everyone refers to the election of 2020. He is endorsing opponents of elected persons who he feels didn’t contest his 2020 loss. He is still obsessed with the idea that he actually won although in a recent interview he admitted he lost.
Being that he doesn’t want to be seen as a 2 time loser I am certain that he will not run in 2024.

Once the bodies are exhumed the extent of the Russian war crimes will become apparent. What is even more shocking than the bombing of non military targets is the Russians making no effort to retrieve the corpses of their fallen soldiers, Putin will long be remembered for his evil.

Mindful, The AP is not leftist nor a publication but rather a cooperative news service. Members of the Associated Press publish articles from the AP reporters and the AP disseminates articles originating in member news media. An AP article from a newspaper in Moscow or Yardley Pennsylvania may be carried by the AP and is available to all AP members including Yeshiva world and the Daily News

As a New Yorker I have been aware of Trump and his antics for over 30 years as a serial liar and a serial adulterer. Aside from lying about the height of his buildings, filing a false insurance claim for 9/11 damage that never occurred at his Wall Street building, lying about working at the Trade Center site after 9/11 Trump had a long reputation for not paying bills of his contractors.
His infatuation with his daughter and remarks about dating her were troublesome as well as the remark he made to a girl at Trump Plaza that when she was older he could date her.
Aside from his character flaws he has business interests in foreign countries and discussions about a Trump building in Moscow continued after the election. I can go on and on.

Moose are far more dangerous to motorists because of their size, and in parts of New England they are hit by cars. Most collisions with deer only cause moderate damage to the car unless the deer ends up on the windshield.

Deer season ended over a week ago so any plans for eliminating deer must wait until the fall. Most hunters look to kill the biggest buck they can find which does little to control the deer population. Eliminating antlerless and female deer is the only way to effectively reduce the deer population.
Those interested in hunting deer should look into the state regulations regarding hunting.

She later claimed that it wasn’t an anti-Semitic comment because she wasn’t aware the Rothchilds were Jewish. No one has found evidence that there even are space lasers aimed at California forests.

Khaki Campbell ducks are one the most popular domesticated breeds kept in the United States. This attractive breed was created by crossing Runner, Fawn, and Rouen ducks.

Some historical accounts also indicate they crossed khaki Campbell ducks with wild Mallard ducks, but others do not.

in reply to: Keeping my last name when married #2036651

I don’t like the hyphenated last name but to keep the maiden name as a middle name is ok. With a second marriage the woman keeping the name she is known by is common. And for a woman to use her maiden name professionally if she is established in a profession prior to marriage seems common. Passing on a last name isn’t important because we have a mesorah of passing on first names of departed ancestors as a way to keep their memory alive. Last names have only been arounf for several hundred years and many Americans have last names that were changed after immigration to this country. There were no Smiths, Robinsons, or Roberts in the shtetl.

Does the $16 donut contain silver or gold? Anyone paying that much for a donut, that’s $192 a dozen has their priorities wrong. It’s a much greater mitzvah to skip the donut and give the $16 to tzdaka.

If people would just get their information on vaccination from their own physicians instead of cable TV, Facebook or assorted conspiracy theorists there would be almost universal compliance.
I have yet to meet a physician or nurse who has not been vaccinated and had all eligible family members vaccinated.
In the summer of 1956 or 1957 we all lined up to get a polio vaccine which ended polio in America. I was young, but don’t remember any anti vaxers or demonstrators at the sites.

Rare is the frum girl who doesn’t want to get married. In New York, New Jersey and many states they can’t legally marry at 16 even if they want to.
