The formation of a new ultra-Orthodox infantry brigade is advancing
despite tensions surrounding the haredi military service exemption bill
and ongoing demonstrations by ultra-Orthodox protesters….

The Tavetz training base in the Jordan Valley is undergoing a $46 million transformation,
featuring four new synagogues and custom-built infrastructure
designed to accommodate religious requirements.

The facility will serve as the training ground for the first cohort of
ultra-Orthodox soldiers who will form part of a standard infantry brigade.
The brigade’s establishment is headed by Col. Avinoam Emunah,
reporting to Maj. Gen. David Zini, head of Training Command.

Plans call for the first ultra-Orthodox infantry battalion to be
combat-ready by November 2025, joining existing religious units.
This initiative represents the first formation of a regular
infantry brigade “from the ground up” since the 1980s.

Staff training is underway, with plans for the brigade
to function as a self-sufficient unit, operating independently
without requiring support from other formations.

The IDF’s enhanced focus on ultra-Orthodox recruitment
stems from operational necessity. A regular brigade can
effectively replace many reserve battalions in operational duties,
substantially reducing the burden on reserve forces.

Parallel initiatives include the formation of an ultra-Orthodox
Border Police company and an aircraft maintenance division
within the Air Force, both structured to accommodate religious requirements.

The military has adopted a new approach, moving away from
viewing itself as an “educator” for the ultra-Orthodox community.
Instead, it aims to demonstrate that religious
observance and military service can coexist.

As mentioned above, many Muslims believe that killing a Jew,
or being killed by a Jew, guarantees a Muslim that he [or she]
will go directly to Paradise after death, without needing

But there are five more points about Islamic philosophy
that are less known, that you probably never heard before:

[1] Many Muslims believe that if a Muslim kills a Jew,
or is killed by a Jew, this guarantees automatic Paradise after death,
not only for the Muslim who died, but also for 70 of his closest relatives.

This means that if a Muslim kills a Jew, or is killed by a Jew,
this guarantees that all of his parents, brothers, sisters, uncles,
aunts, cousins and grandparents are all guaranteed to
go directly to Paradise after death, without needing
even one second of painful purification in Purgatory.

For this reason, many Muslim parents actually
WANT their children to be killed by Israeli soldiers,
as strange as it may seem.

[2] Many Muslims believe that killing ONE Jew is
spiritually equal to killing 50 ordinary infidels [non-Muslims].

Therefore, if a Muslim kills ONE Jew, his eternal reward
in Paradise is twice a great as a Muslim who killed
25 ordinary infidels [non-Muslims], because 2 X 25 = 50.

[3] In Europe and North America, most people believe in
the desirability of “Win-Win Solutions”, which means that a
problem is solved in a way that benefits both sides, so both sides win.

Unfortunately, “Win-Win Solutions” are NOT part of Arab culture or Muslim culture.
They do NOT believe in “Win-Win Solutions”.

They believe that they alone should always win, and the infidels
[non-Muslims] should always lose, which often means that
the infidels [non-Muslims] are massacred and genocided into extinction.

[4] Many Muslims believe that ANY compromise is shameful,
and in the Arab/Muslim world, shame is the worst fate possible,
even worse than losing a large amount of money.

ANY compromise with Jews is most shameful of all.

How does this effect Israel’s ability to compromise with Muslims?

[5] Every time Jews offer land in exchange for peace,
Muslims misinterpret this as a public admission of guilt.

Stated another way, every time Jews offer land in exchange for peace,
Muslims misinterpret this as Jews publicly confessing that
“they stole Palestine from Muslims”.

More than 70 years after 1948, most Israeli leaders and
Jewish leaders do not know this, and never will know this.

the Prophetess Deborah [Devorah HaNeviyah], sings a Divinely-inspired song.

In chapter 5, verses 12 to 16, the Prophetess Deborah publicly
praises those Jews who fought against the enemies of Israel.

Then she publicly REBUKES those Jews who did NOT
join the fight against the enemies of Israel.

we see Shaul HaMelech and the General of Shaul’s Army,
David ben Yishai. (This was before David became King.)

They are both returning home from recent victory in war.

We see the Jewish women publicly praising both of them:

“SHAUL HAS SLAIN HIS THOUSANDS AND
DAVID [HAS SLAIN] HIS TENS OF THOUSANDS.”

PERSONAL NOTE:
From this we see that the soldiers who fight our enemies
deserve to be publicly praised and thanked.

The Israel Defense Forces plans to form the first company of the new Hasmonean Brigade, to be made up of ultra-Orthodox soldiers, by Chanukah, which this year starts on December 25.

The IDF wants to capitalize on the symbolism. The Hasmonean Dynasty began after the Jews threw off the yoke of Hellenistic rule in the Maccabean Revolt (167 to 141 BCE) against the Seleucid Empire, liberation that the holiday commemorates.

Thirty young men have already passed the first screenings and dozens of others have expressed interest in serving in the brigade, Ynet reported.

The army is also looking to make charedi soldiers currently serving in noncombat roles into combat soldiers for the brigade. A company is made up 60 to 80 soldiers.

The IDF is taking a gradual approach, hoping that the charedi community will take note that the brigade is responsive to the religious needs of the ultra-Orthodox, creating trust between the community and the army.

The new brigade requires recruits to follow a strict halachic lifestyle, that is, one in keeping with religious law. Observant Jews will serve as commanders in the brigade.

Brigade enlistees will sign a document accepting its rules. One clause states that recruits will at all times maintain an ultra-Orthodox way of life, be careful to use clean speech, keep beards and sidelocks throughout their service if they entered the army with them, and wear Sabbath clothes during Sabbath prayers and meals “as is customary in ultra-Orthodox society (and even a suit and a hat).”

All the courses and training for soldiers in the brigade will be conducted internally to avoid mixing with non-Orthodox units, a nod to a concern of many ultra-Orthodox, who view it as a violation of the IDF’s obligation to preserve their strict lifestyle.

Brigade commander Col. Avinoam Emunah said: “I am privileged to be the commander of the ultra-Orthodox brigade and to be part of this special project that can bring about a change in Israeli society and the entire people of Israel.

“We established a brigade, which for the first time since the establishment of the IDF and the establishment of the state, will allow the ultra-Orthodox public to enlist and serve in combat according to their lifestyle and preserve their identity,” he said.
